When i was 10. :o My uncle was a cop and took me to the station but said that it would help identify me if i were to ever go missing. :o I was 10 and got a copy too!! 8) It was fun but glad i stayed on the good side. Why do you ask?? ???

Employment as a corrections officer along with a mugshot taken. You get it when you're applying so they can start running a background check.

Foreigners have all 10 fingers scanned. I do remember having to put my thumb on a scanner at LAX.

fingerprinted for concealed carry permit and also for substitiute and full-time teaching.
Never been arrested. Was placed in handcuffs once for a few minutes, when there was an amber alert in my city for a guy that looked like me, and with a kid like mine. Didn't enjoy that.

Foreigners have all 10 fingers scanned. I do remember having to put my thumb on a scanner at LAX.
So the next time I cross the border I'll get scanned!? Are these scans then (indefinitely?) entered into a database, or are they right then used to look for matches on known lists? I know that we now have to produce a passport when entering the US, but this is a whole new ballgame.

I was arrested once for wreckless driving, was going 68 in a 25, was cuffed and taken to jail for like 5 hours, was fingerprinted then!
Also was fingerprinted a million times for immigration.
And this is weird, in egypt you get fingerprinetd when you get married and it goes on your marriage certificate lol so did it then too!
