So I'm gonna flat out premise this question with the fact that I am a conservative.
That being said, liberals can you explain to me why we should have this bill?
I understand that in "theory" 30-40 million more Americans will have coverage, but it seems like a lot of doctors/hospitals/practices say that they will be forced to reject a lot of patients under the new laws.
To me it just seems unconstitutional to force people to have/offer coverage, not to mention it will cost a shitload.
Also does it not bother you that the health care is SPLIT as divisively down the middle between both parties? (which I'm sure isn't good).
That being said, unemployment in the US is at 10%+, so now mandating employers to offer these plans to employees is a good thing for our economy? It seems obvious to me that employers will have to start cutting jobs.
I don't know about you, but I'd rather have A JOB then health insurance.
Convince me why I should be drinking Kool-Aid with you liberals.

AZN if you searched you would find a lot of liberals on this board and other boards are against this kind of reform. The health care reform that is passing is basically rubbish and most people see that. A public option is by far the best choice but alas too many spineless dems right now.

Why is a public option the best choice? Because the government up to this point has done such a bang up job by handing things over to the insurance companies and all there rules and regulations they implemented. Yeah I trust a bunch of career politicians to make choices about my health care ::). And if the public option was going to be so great why was congress going to exempt themselves from it? I'll tell you why because it was going to suck ass and they knew it.
