INTRO:
An opportunity now exists within our rapidly growing nutritional products company – Primordial Performance LLC. We are now entering our 4th year in business with 500% increase in gross sales from the previous year.
We are looking for an energetic, quick paced individual to help with warehouse tasks, cleaning, labeling products and assist in shipping.
We are looking for someone with open availability, who works well under deadlines, and can work standing for long periods of time.
JOB SUMMARY:
Nature of Work –
Hours of work and schedule are determined on a weekly basis, averaging between 20-30+ hours per week.
Work involves labeling products, cleaning and organizing warehouse/office, assisting the Shipping Manager and Operations Manager daily.
Training and technical assistance for the Assistant Position is provided by Lead Production Associates, Production Manager, and/or Shipping Manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities –
Complete daily cleaning tasks as prescribed by the Operations Manager.
Organize and store ingredients in first-in first-out order on designated shelves in accordance with local health and sanitation requirements.
Maintain a cooperative attitude of working together with the Operations Manager and all other co-workers.
Assist Shipping manager with making boxes and wrapping products for shipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
*High school education
Must Be Able To Do the Following–
Work while standing for on an average of 8 hours each shift.
Be able to lift and carry 60 lbs multiple times during the course of a normal shift.
Safely operate, clean, and maintain utensils and equipment used.
Adhere to sanitation requirements in the handling and preparation of all products.
Basic math, (addition, subtraction, counting)
Be able to read and understand units of measure. (mg, gm, ml, ect)
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Warehouse/Office, N Portland, less than 5 minutes from PDX. Growing company with less than 8 employees.
COMPENSATION:
Minimum wage during probationary period of 3 months to fully complete training
Pay increase determined by Management based off of productivity and efficiency, as well as possible Full Time promotion.
The vast majority of Getbiggers would fail most of the above tasks and therefore wouldn't be suitable.
