Vince was one of the laziest trainers I've ever seen, no role model in that matter. Dude makes Dexter look like a hard worker.

Heard he was more of a "pumper" and used light weights. Whatever he did, worked. Sometimes one doesn't need to lift huge poundages. And let's remember he didn't come in over the 230's.

The most impressive thing about this picture which was taken shortly before Vince turned 50 is that he is uninjured and close to his very best in terms of the quality of his physique, i.e., little to no regression took place. His legs did appear to be down in size a little after he turned 50 but he was still at a very high level.

During those grand prix's some athletes looked better than at the 'O.
Years ago I mailed him saying that he was robbed during the '89 Olympia and some questions. He responded very friendly.
He's in my all time best bber top 10 for sure.

Two points:
First point: Vince Taylor's arms were measured (properly) at 19.5ish''... Vince was 220 at the time (if memory serves) and in contest shape. Remember a 19'' arm is 11% bigger than an 18'' arm, not just the 5.5% bigger the tape would seem to indicate (as an area it's dependent on the square of the measurement). Tim Fogarty can probably shed more light on this.
Second point: Your arms are NOT eighteen inches.

...dude, I doubt even Paco's arms are twenty inches. Yours are barely seventeen.
Any and every bodybuilder who has ever had a twenty inch arm has measured it on video to prove such.
But yet, somehow, only Lee Priest and Samuel Samuelson videos have surfaced.
