Axelrod, Gibbs Won't Agree Brown Victory is a "Wake-Up Call" to Obama and the Democrats
Here is telling video of David Axelrod and White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs on MSNBC this morning where they would not agree that Scott Brown's victory in Massachusetts was a "wake-up call" to President Obama and the Democrats.

The forehead brothers ;D. No make that the fivehead brothers, because 4 just isn't big enough
-
I love it, these dweebs are going further left!
Go for it you clowns!

It should be a wake-up call to Republicans. Brown likes Massachusetts current Universal Healthcare system. The current bills are nearly mirror images of that system.
Hopefully he doesn`t vote for it even though he supports it. That oughta make any Republican a bit weary.

He supports Massachusetts current Healthcare system. which is a near mirror image of the Senate bill. In Massachusetts you are REQUIRED to buy Health Insurance. Brown supports this.
Do you think he will work to repeal that in his state when he actively supports it?

See you are missing your own point, it was decided by the STATE, not the federal government. If that state wants to run healthcare that way it is their prerogative.

Would you support YOUR STATE REQUIRING you to buy Healthcare as Massachusetts does? I wouldn`t. You would?
Scott Brown and Cockley did. Both suck in my opinion.

No I wouldn't, but it is up to the STATE to decide since it is not a constitutionally appointed power of the federal government.

Ok good. So you and I disagree with Scott Brown.

On that issue, I absolutly disagree, each state has it's own state constittuion and I wouldn't be surprised to find that the MA government didn't over step its bounds

State Constitutions are not always what they crack up to be. For instance, in North Carolina the State Constitution lists a requirement for a belief in God and if you do not, you cannot hold office.
Article 6, section 8 disqualifies from office any person who shall deny the being of Almighty God.
This of course violates the First and Fourteenth amendment of the US Constitution .
State Constitutions are not the end all nor should they be.
