Yeah I own a 450 now but Its hitting 80km now and I dont liek to keep then to long.  I am always on the road cross country.

Jade I had the one hummer it was an 06 white truck style one.  It killed me on fuel but it was very nice.

Killed you on fuel?  How's the f450 treatin' ya?

I will sometimes ride my company's f350, and it's a pig on fuel, but it's great for towing a fairly heavy load.  I'm only driving short distance with it.  If i was going cross country like you, with a heavy load, I would stick with a 450 b/c of the bigger payload capacty and better breaking.

]Its not to bad on fuel now I did away with the DPF filter and changed the exhaust and Intake.  I layed down 610 rwhp and almost 1200 torque.  Total different truck now.   I think im gonna buy a 2010 f450 Harley dually with 410 gears this time.  The 488 were destroying my wallet at the pumps

thats kool.  My only problem is I need to tow about 20 thousand pounds on a regular basis and my 450 is the only truck I have found that will do it so easily.  The max tow on the gooseneck is 24500 lbs.  I have towed over 50 thousand pounds over short distances in the oil fields. Ive never seen another truck that can compare

Sounds about right for a Ford
