I Flex's book he claims he ran into Arnold after wiining the ASC. Arnold supposedly got p'd seeing Flex attempt to pay for his shoes and Arnold demanded he should be getting them for free being that he is "FLEX WHEELER". I now wonder if that was yet another lie.

Anyone can go on the Nike website and have a custom pair of shoes made to your specs and colors and materials with your name on it. My daughter had a pair made she used in the past Honolulu Marathon. Kind of neat

He may have paid for one pair. Ut I doubt he hooked Flex up with a "Nike" contract for Free Shoes. You are miscontruing the facts. Hell, Levrone was supposed to be working on a "weightlifting/bbing" shoe with Nike in the mid 90's. You see where that went.

yeah I did that also. But Flex claims thanks to Arnold he didn't have to pay. How'd she do in the marathon? I plan to run one one day.

She has ran in the past 5 or 6. Her husband dad flys in from Japan to run. He has ruin in like 15 or 20 of them almost since the first one. She does NO training and just goes out and runs. I think this year though she did not finish because she is a couple months pregnant and didn't feel good. Even the dad who usually finishes under 4 hours got sick as did several others. I give her credit though for being able to do it without training for it. She is very physically active and surfs everyday. Plus she is only 24 so she can do it.

The way Flex put it was according to Arnold, he should not have to PAY to wear their stuff. So Flex waid to satisfy Arnold, the store let Flex leave will all the stuff he and Rico McClinton wanted. NothingI twisted or about an endorsement, just wondering if he really got free stuff via Arnolds weight.

I heard Arnold's just not into the sport anymore. But all old timers are like that. But for some reason , I think that story may not have ever occurred.

I don't trust a damn word out of Flex's mouth. That book is full of bullshit lies. If you search for a poster named "Livewire" you can find a post he copied of mine, about all the stupid lies Flex made up. For one thing, Flex had a real liking for the number 100.
And think about it, why would Arnold be at NikeTown? Wouldn't Arnold be sent his own shoes? I doubt Arnold was just strolling through the mall, though possible. But I'm betting that this is just another out and out lie from Flex.

No NIKETOWN is in Beverly Hills on Wilshire its like a big shopping center (like Macy's) selling only NIKE brand products.

Actually there are Niketowns all over (at least used to be, not sure anymore) Had a huge one in huntington Beach and one in Honolulu and Chicago. Those are just the ones I seen.

I believe he admitted that he was doing small doses at that show. Though he claims "only to replace his natural test. But he was still within natural test levels."

Yeah I read that in MD. He never NEEDED the small doses. But i think had he not even used any that year he'd have still placed in the top 10.
