Exclusive: Obama Would 'Rather Be Really Good One-Term President' (Barf Alert)

President Obama, buffeted by criticism of his massive health care reform bill and election setbacks, said today he remained determined to tackle health care and other big problems despite the political dangers to his presidency.
I'd rather be a really good one-term president than a mediocre two-term president," he told ABC's "World News" anchor Diane Sawyer in an exclusive interview today.
Obama sat down with Sawyer two days before he will deliver a State of the Union speech to a joint session of Congress, and he acknowledged the political setbacks of his first year in office.
The speech this Wednesday comes at a time when the president's health care reform bill, the centerpiece of his domestic agenda, is stalled in Congress because the Senate lost its super-majority when Massachusetts elected Republican Scott Brown last week.

Interesting... he could hand over the reigns to hilary. She has plenty of experience, is viewed by most as very capable, and she has laid low as sec of state. No stink of stimulus, etc - she wasn't in the senate voting for it.
Hilary would do waaaaaaaay better against random GOp candidate in 2012 than he would.

I didn't say she's the best choice, nor did I say I'd vote for her.
I just said she would do better than Obama against Repub in 2012.
And yes, in 2020 there probably will be a renewed Jeb movement and yes, he'd probably get the nomination. As much as dynasties are disgusting, by then, bush2 will be a jolly old many that everyone treats like Reagan, and jeb will be the wisest party elder, perfectly safe prez or VP pick.

well I would laugh at it but according 3333 and BF, I'm a hypocrite if I don't support Obama. So I guess I'll be voting for Obama and sending him more money for the next campaign....

Well,Obama hasnt been a good president in his first year or a medicre one.He has been an utter,absolute failure in every way possible.From making the economy worse,to unemployment getting worse,to race relations getting worse,to the government getting much larger,to his takeovers of companies.I cant imagine a worse first year EVER by any president in history.
