I'm setting a goal of doing 100x100 on barbell curls. Don't know when I will achieve that, but as of today, I have set that goal. As anybody ever done that on here?
I was inspired by that dude who did 68 reps in one minute.
-
Ill take that bet. How many can you do now. ill try it with you
-
I doubt if it`s possible without cramping or getting injured, but good luck dude.

I figured that as well. I've set that goal just as of today. Soemthing diff to do. I've never seem how much I could do and Im still gaining weight. In college, I tried what this one guy was doing, 250 diamond pushups---broken up into 50s. Got a very good pump. Did these each night, to the point where I had 50 pounds of weight in a packpack.
Yeah ND, the lactic acid is going to be the kill shot for making this goal. And then it also matters if you have a straight bar or EZ curl bar. I am doing a experiment now with the straight bar (the one with the scrw on collars--100 lbs set), my wrists are already taking a severe beating. I have small wrists, my EZ curl bar is better, but I think that my forearms will adjust and grow.

I dunno about that goal - that's tough

Why on Earth....? Powerlifting grip...or the gay way?
-
oh good point I was thinking of an eazy curl bar
-
Try one bodyweight pull up. Our 3x (atleast) Mr Olympia tried it and failed.
-
i have seen video of some giant Scandinavian power lifter doing reps with 315 , so maybe some freak could pull it off

It'll be interesting to see how you adapt to it. For me, bi's are one of those muscles that fill with lactic acid after only 15-20 reps, like side delts and calves. So the weight isn't going to be as much of an issue as the reps. I'd probably do it the other way around and try it with 50lbs, then 55lbs, etc. so that your body becomes used to the number of reps quicker.

I believe Kevin Levrone 100x100 cable rope crunches

Haha, doesn't matter.
-
Even if you fail bigtime but end up doubling the amount of reps you could do originally, that`s damn good.

Haha, doesn't matter.
Imagine doing that in an apartment on the 2nd floor.

Sounds like a Falcon principle.
-
when the thread started I went to the gym and did it, wasn't as hard as I thought...next time I will video tape it.

If one wants to fly with Falcons, one must challenge oneself. Being inducted into the Falcon Order is of the highest honor.
Yeah, Wes I am not thinking about not achieving this, but of course I will work up to it. Failure to me is not an option. Yes I know to think realistically, but if I make it, I will YouTube it and post it here.

100x100x100. 100 reps with 100 lb barbell in 100 secs.

No, it took me 3 minutes, I wanted to do full reps with full contractions, full range of motions
I did take pics, maybe I will post them later
