wow how does that effect your diet

I drank diet pop when getting shredded a few summers ago. It didn't affect me at all. I like it because it felt like it kept my stomach fuller while decreasing hunger cravings. I knew a pro female bodybuilder pretty well that would down 1-2 liters of diet coke every day until a week out from her shows

Nearly a 12 pack of Pepsi MAX as day.

Caffeine not only slows down the aging of cells, it prevents skin cancer as well as many other types of cancer as well as preventing brain diseases such as Alzheimer's, forms of dementia and memory loss.

Caffeine is one of the best things you can ingest and especially if it is for a long period of time, unbroken.

I usually average about 400 mg a day on coffee alone.

Perhaps it is time to up the dosage a tad bit.

Poly,

What are you reading these days?

I'm about halfway through State of the Union: A Century of American Labor (Politics and Society in Twentieth Century America) by Nelson Lichenstein under recommendation from a close associate of mine.

A definite eye opener as to wars being fought against our unions and the hurdles they face to remain relevant under this ever growing neo-conservative culture.

Any good books you would endorse after I finish this one?

The Quest for Cosmic Justice by Thomas Sowell. All about life, the universe and everything. Only about 225 pages. It explains everything.

Hope it's enough to offset the aluminum can.

same here, believe it or not I can taste the difference between the can and the bottle.  I have checked out every store in my area but I cannot it in 16 oz bottle by the case. Instead I have to buy the 24 can case.

Hahahahaha!! you really are fucked in the head, caffeine like cocaine and niccotine is a highly addictive stimulant, it should be used moderately, you said you drink 12 a day? try stopping for a day cold and see how you feel..LOL

You're actually comparing caffeine to cocaine? Sure, compare caffeine to ephedrine all you want but you're going a little far with that other one.
I was a caffeine freak for many years and stopped all intake for about 3 months and it wasn't hard at all.

Either way , it's a powerful stimulant that people get hooked on (don't tell me they don't..look at the morning coffee industry, esp. in large offices) everyone is used to waking up and having a coffee in the morning..it's the norm... that's a little f*cked up, no ?

Pepsi Max is addicting!

Sadly I recently came across a study, that linked one of the primary chemicals in pepsi max, to causing irreversible DNA damage. Lol... maybe I will see if I can find a link to it.

true its physiologically addicting to a point, tolerance does build, but hes right that caffiene has numerous benefits to your health. not sure about 600-1000mg per day though. probably doesnt effect him much anymore because hes worked up to it over time and been drinking it for a while.

Yes, but caffeine isn't nearly as damaging to ones life as something as criminal as blow is. I would have liked to have been around in the days coke was actually in coke  :D

Yeah, I can pretty much agree with that, at moderate doses it does help in numerous ways including awareness and being alert, but at +800mg a day, you gotta wonder how much damage it's doing.. everything has side effects, even vitamin C..
