So I'm working out today and I see some guy loading up the leg press machine. he has the entire machine completely topped off with 45's. He then adds some weight on top of the machine later during another set. before his set, he kicks the machine abotu 5 times, then starts slapping his legs makinga lot of noise. im watching all of this and waiting to see whether he can actually lift the weight.
As i suspected...epic 1/4 reps...if that. he has a 25 on the peg to keep the weight from coming down to far and crushing his puny body.
what hilarious...is that next he supersets with incline dumbbell flyes...with 15 LbERS!! he then throws a few shadow punches in front the mirror and looks at himself like hes the baddest mofo on the planet and goes back to do another "leg press" set.
It was so embarrassing i had to capture a pic for my fellow getbiggers. Enjoy.

I was going further than just 1/4 reps! >:( And I was only using 15lb bells because I had pre-exhausted earlier in my workout. ::)

It would be cool if a large group of getbiggers could get together IRL at a gym just to walk around and make fun of people and the stupid shit they do.

next time, somebody who actually can do the weight should say, "Hey, bro, can I work in". Or "Seems you having problem with the weight..." Or "I didn't know your chicken legs were sooo strong. Damn bro, what are you on? I'm using NO-Xplode."

What gym is that? Also, where do you live and what time of day is it? Whenever I check out a commercial gym even if it's in the late morning/early afternoon it's always crowded. Seems like the place is empty.

what got to me most was those "shadow punches" in front of the mirror. im guessing he thinks he is some kind of fighter...so he does light weight on his upperbody so he doesnt get too "huge" and tries to have a strong base with his leg workouts.
its very comical. next time ill try to capture it on video. the only thing is...no cameras allowed in the gym, so i had to be carfeul getting the pic with my cellphone.
Same rule at mine. But everyone and their mother brings in their Cell Phones, which have a Camera. ::) It's just one of those rules they only enforce when they want to.

I've got plenty of them at my gym. I said it before, I even have a guy who went for a (failed) roundhouse kick. Still shows up and not embarassed at all.

exactly. But the problem is most of us would spend most of their gym time taking pictures of these buffoons..i mean there's so many of em and growing nowadays...
