Bout 15 minutes or my house

my gym (gold's) is about 15-20 minutes away
my wife's gym (curve's) is even closer, about 10 minutes
she does have a membership at both places so sometimes we work out together at gold's then go out to breakfast at mcdonalds or the waffle house

You're all lucky. I live in NW London, UK and there is NO proper gyms in my immediate area. If I wanted a yoga/holistic/gay/fitness experience there is about 5 in a radius of 2 miles from my front door. Sadly the heavy training hardcore gyms is a rare breed these days.

i prefer the more family-oriented fitness centers sense sometimes i bring my wife with me to work out
the hardcore training gyms are dusty and sometimes dirty plus the members were mean to me when i went once
they also hog all the equipment too

5 minutes. A 1/2 hour each way would make it a lot easier for me to justify skipping a workout.

Yea, we have a gym chain called Virgin Active which is great with their weights and fitness area and I have one literally 3 min from my house. But at £87 ($140) a month it isn't really value for money. I'm not a Getbig millionaire. >:(

Nice. There was a failed gym not far from me selling the majority of what you have for $2k. I didn't buy because I would have to remodel my shop

I go to 24 hour fitness. I have 6 gyms all within 15 mins of my house.
You got to love it. I usually go to 2-3 a week.I workout 6 days a week.
-
I actually go to the gym with Slacker. He picks me up in his jet and then we get dropped off about a block from the gym where one of his limos picks us up. I know it is a little excessive but that is how he rolls.

:o
We also have Virgin Active
in SA. We pay R 199-00 or $25-00
a month or if you are on a good
medical aid scheme, you pay R 800
or $ 100 once off and you are a member
for life, barring that you "swipe" your
card once a month or something to
that tune.
-
6km, about 7-10 min each way.

Do you have a car?
