When she sat down and took questions. I cant recall any policy questions she was asked about. Im pretty sure there were NONE. Who was expecting her to ad lib on questions of policy? She had those prepared when she gave her speech.
The questions she was asked were mostly on the tea party and dem/indy role in the future of the tea party and her role in the future.

Seriously, whatever that mess is on her hand (no - not that kind, 3 :)) is not legible enough to work from – at least not at the point we see her look right at it while seated.
Earlier shots from the podium show it already well distorted.
I’m sure she knew about whatever was there, and I’m sure she put it there. I also noticed that she stroked her knee with that hand just prior to looking at her palm.
I suspect she may have been inspecting for additional smearing, and likely glanced (at least, peripherally) at her knee for any transfer.
As far as her requiring “help” in responding to those particular issues, I agree with Hugo’s assertion that yes – these are questions that she has answered many times the same way. Those answers by now are as easy as reciting her own name.
If she did need help, I doubt she’d have gotten it from that blurry mess. And if she did get lost there, she recovered pretty quickly. I suspect the smudge simply may have distracted her a bit.
Regardless – for those who criticize Obama for using a teleprompter or Palin for using papers or scribbling a few words on her hand, it’s unreasonable to expect anyone to recite a speech of that length without aides.

Since '95, I have won 84 shows, contests, juried exhibits, and shot calls. Starting on the local level in 95-97, state level 97-99, national and international level 2000-current.
When I say "won", I mean those 84 are either First Place, Best Of Show, or People's Choice. I have a shitload of 2nd and 3rd place awards as well. But I don't count those because to me, anything less than 1st, BoS, or PC, is not really winning. Which is why I never include those in my portfolio or bio.
I can send you a few samples of my work with the names of shows they placed in if you want to see for yourself. Or you can come to Vegas next week when I shoot a Mardi Gras event for a client and tag along.
