It would be cool to have him as a teacher in high school.  ;D

As for him being the strongest bodybuilder in the world, that title goes to Stan Efferding.  As for his bench, he handled it far too easily for that to be 600.  I would say there are some fake plates involved there.  No doubt he is strong and he looks great for 43, but I have to call bullshit on that lift.

I'm gathering the school system where he works doesn't drug test? And how do you explain to a kid who wants to compete in pro bodybuilding and believes he can use all those supps? He has to tell them that all pros use steriods, which means him.

I guess school systems are so hard up fo teachers these days.

Seems like a good guy to hang with...yet rather abstruse.

Not that I claim to know ALL IFBB pro's, how come if he's an IFBB'er, I've never heard of him?

Which LB ran a 4.4 40? You're high! There isn't one LB that I can recall at the combines last year that ran a 4.4 and as far as I can see there isn't one this year. LB's are usually around 4.7-5.1-2 if you get a real fast one MAYBE 4.6.

Actually no, I don't wish I was him. He does dwarf me and really don't give a shit. I didn't he couldn't run it (although I kinda doubt it since thats not what he trains for) he said it was NFL quality......for what position?

I can run a 5.0 flat 40 and do train for it. Thats the difference.

so the 12  45lb plates and the little ones on the end w/ the bar don't add up to 600 pounds?

some people have limited math skills on here.

Ronnie was a mediocre bencher though.

i'm calling bullshit on the bench.

it seemed a bit too easy - no belt, no wrist raps, plus he could have done more reps.

below is a vid of glen chabot, who was once a world class bencher.

he's having a harder time benching 600 then andy.

You have limited knowledge of strength sports, to put it lightly. If that feat was real the guy would be the strongest bencher in the history of the world. Fake plates involved, end of story.

They were clangin' around like real plates. Why the fuck does everyone on here assume all lifts are bullshit
where the fuck do you even buy fake plates.

thats what I meant by "arnold classic expo" weights. there's a video of some 14 year old benchin 585 for reps. the plates rattled, and the bar was bendin (I think it was Arnold Classic)

Like I said, you don't know much about strength sports if you don't see this was a BS lift. I'm not assuming anything.

All that means is that there are two REAL plates together and they used a soft bar

Agreed, anybody who goes out of there way to to get a hold of fake plates and tell everyone that he can bench 600 for reps and without a spotter has got some major issues. Let andy and all these guys that claim crazy numbers get involved in the strongest bodybuilder contest and we'll see who's left standing at the end, but it will never happen.

...no

Mate Im not sure I see about 7 wheels on each side with the bar that makes 300 kilos which comes around 660lbs
could be fake plates of course.

hes benching that very easy and he fact that he has his skinny son spotting him who would be of no help if ever anything goes wrong does look bad.
In the hercules were I trained for a while there was a very strong bencher - world champion - his name is Bertie - I saw him bench similar weight but there were always (as far as I remeber) people spotting him on each side.
I mean anything over 100 kilos is getting dangerous if you loose grip or something goes wrong
