Pepsi throwback is made with Sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup...

and yes i can taste the difference! 8)

PS Dr pepper always tasted a bit like childrens tylenol for my liking

So is Dublin Dr. Pepper, that's why it has the Imperial Sugar Cane logo on it.

I think it's hard to find outside of the Fort Worth, TX area though....

X2 - Jason's deli downtown Dallas has Dublin DP in the fountian. Real sugar no corn.

I also just read an article somewhere that said that you should look for a hebrew symbol on bottle caps around easter time. Most bottlers quietly make sugar version that are kosher. Sometimes they have different color caps indicating which are the kosher versions.

ahhhhh....

yanno whats sad...if you go buy cocacola from the mexican grocery story...ya get stuff with real sugar in it...the american stuff is high fructose corn syrup :-\

also it comes in glass bottles...which r meant for quuicker consumption = less preservatives, as opposed to plastic bottles or cans

a friend of mine drives to NY for EXACTLY that reason and comes home with crates n crates of coke....its been a while since i actually bought a coke since he always brings around a 12 pak with him when we study

one of these days we'll get caught in the library though :D

Yep. So does alot of the Chicken Expresses.....Although I don't know if it's technically "Dublin Dr. Pepper".

For years you could only find Dublin Dr. Pepper within a small radius of the Stephenville/Dublin area because of Franchise rules but evidently it became so popular that you would start seeing bootlegged Dr. Peppers sold outside of the area and then after that the Plano area plant (and maybe others?) started producing the sugar only Dr. Pepper.

Look again... Sadly the HFCS has made a run for the border. I was in that habit as well and for some reason looked at the bottle last time. Doesn't even say 'sugar and or HFCS' just says HFCS.

I would say that about half of the convenient stores and most of the grocery stores here in Texas carry Mexican coke. But instead of it being by the regular cokes it's usually over by the more traditional mexican drinks like nectars and mineral waters.

there are still a few options...Saudi coke is always sugar...but how many persian food stores ya know :-\

the indian soda thumbs up...is also sugar....any indian grocery store sells it...and is actually pretty good...(unless ya run into the 1 in 5 bottles with almost no carbonation)
