Glen Beck got schooled. Of course, he's still in the slow class so it probably won't take.Beck is scared shitless of anyone with any brain - Dylan will not soon be in Beck's studio by a longshot!

I thought he presented a fantastic argument and explanation.  I wouldn't say he schooled anyone more informed Beck on what the science is behind his ideas.

Look at Vancouver host city of the winter games, zero snow in the local mountains there.  I was up there a week ago (heading back during the games too) and Cypress Mountain is so bare it looks like spring.  Climate change has really messed with the weather patterns globally and i think we are seeing that in this more frequent storms or crazy type weather.

I shoveled out about a foot of "climate change" from the driveway two days ago.

I personally love shovelling snow.  It means i can get the snowmobile out early morning, meet up with the boys and go hit some gnar! Look 333 we will never truly agree on this but please understand one or two days does not make for conclusive evidence one way or the other.  It's when it's a trend that it's worrying.

Can we agree though that pollution levels are far too high?  regardless of climate effects don't you agree that pollution is far too high in this country?

Ha ha ha!

If I took out a snowmobile in Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx I think the swat team would come out.

You never know.  Some guys have done some skiing in central park and drew a decent crowd from what i've heard.  Snowmobiling is a fun way to get into the hills, i usually snowmobile to a spot then lap it on my snowboard.  it depends though it's also great to go in on your own power sometimes and really take the time to enjoy the line you've just spend half a day climbing up.  'biles allow for a ton of laps in a day but there there isn't the same solitude you get as when all you hear if your heart racing, your lungs screaming and you're almost there after hiking/skinning for 5-6 hours straight.

Compared to the rest of Canada, Vancouver for the most part always has mild winters. Usually it rains in the winter. The mountains do have snow just not as much as usual.

It does rain but not to the extent it has this winter Bindare.  The freezing levels are usually low enough to facilitate snow.  It's about 6 degrees at sea level that allows for snow to fall in the hills.  I think the average stats for Jan are something like 5 rain days.  they've had a sh*t load more than that this season and the temp has been above 6 a lot of the time.  I've driven up there and i've never seen the raven ridge area of cypress so bare.  Last spring i it took until april - may for it to look like it does now.

Last year they had one of the worst snow falls ever. This year has been unusally mild. They had snow for 2 days this year in the city and even the rain has been at a minimum but you said they had "zero snow" on the mountains and thats not true. Just making that slight correction, no biggie, Im just bored.  :P Where abouts do you live? Don't have to be specific about it, just curious as I go there often as well.

Well i didn't mean zero in the literal sense i meant in the figurative sense.  Last season wasn't too bad but i agree it wasn't as good as past seasons but it was not at bad at this year.

I'm based in Washington/Oregon but i travel a lot with work.

Im a little north of you. Worked some construction jobs in Vancouver for the Olympics. Nice place but smells like piss in the summer heat in the older part of downtown.
