So, you can accomplish the same thing by holding your hands close together on the floor while doing a push-up as you can with the tricep max ::) And you probably save $39.99.

yeah, but you get to have this really great piece of equipment that once you've stopped using it due to pushups being too hard (after 3 weeks), you can also use it to dry iron clothes. Or pave sidewalks! Yaaaay!!!!

This is yet another stolen idea from the past. Nautilus used to make a piece of equipment in the 80s called the "SportsMate", I believe, and it was for pronation/supination. The piece was mounted on the wall of the gym, and would always break, because some moron would essentially try to do one rep max work with it (the idea of the piece was one arm working against the resistance of the other).
I was just a kid and getting serious about tennis at the time, and I swear that the use of the SportsMate helped me develop strong wrists/forearms.

nothing very groundbreaking there. reminds of the tony little skit on mad tv where stone cold steve austin pretends to be tony little and hawks a perfect pushup machine which is a piece of paper where your hands are supposed to go. make it 19.99 and a million suckers will buy it, along with the popeil pocket fisherman.

Hahaha. I was thinking of buying that pocket fisherman for a co-worker who always talks about fishing. I wanted to see his face. Because there is a nice fishing spot where we work. I bet he would say, "WTF, even the Minnows would laugh at me, and you for wasting your money.
