I think so..
-
I don't particularly care for MMA/UFC, but that was pretty awesome.
-
they should have them fight animals
-
I think so..
thats not my first choice for best fight ever to be honest I had forgotten about but it was a good show
-
I got 1:00 through and had to stop because of that goddamned song.

It was just like for 3 straight rounds, they just brawled and beat the shit out of one another. In the end Forrest won but then it was decided that both deserved six figure contracts. I guess that's when Dana White was more generous.

just turn the volume off or down.
-
Good brawl , below average striking skills .
-
hard to call it one of the best fights because they arent really the best fighters
-

Gorilla or bear ???
-
it was the worst fight, it looked like two 7th graders brawling after getting off the school bus
that fight made many idiots believe they could be a cage fighter too, since it was no longer "cool" to be a pro wrestler
it helped make mma popular, and that's another reason i hate that fight

Entertaining fight, but as a MMA fight, not very good. That was basically a boxing match - very one dimensional for a MMA fight.
-
that was matt c's greatest fighting moment :o
-
I think so..
of course a wanna be tuf fan like you would pic this fight ::) , best fight = the coach fighting to keep his pants on around young boys
-
Good brawl
Nobody gave up.
-
Ill take frye/takayama anyday over that!!
-
I would have to say the best fight in MMA history was Fedor vs CroCop. Damn that fight was epic.
-
It was sweet to see Couture beat the piss out of Sylvia after being said to be out of his prime while Tim was in his. ;D Old man just came out of nowhere with the new skills.
-
Gorilla or bear ???
:D
How did that debate finally end?
-
:D
How did that debate finally end?
Lets just say it's been far from concluded a la Dorian vs Ronnie ;D
-
Frye / Takayama and Crocop VS Fedor was good battles as well.
Kimo VS Bob Sapp was HILARIOUS! :D

For a few brief moments I thought kimo would win when he knocked Sapp down a couple of times. A few shenanigans took place to allow Sapp time to recover.

Quite the Shenanigans when big money, corrupt judges and audience-favorites are involved. :)
-
That fight was like watching two retards that had never thrown a punch in their life, fight in the dark. All the while being overdosed on drugs and drink, fighting in an arena that had a strange type of gravity, rendering their movement like a toddler with downs syndrome.
Mma is a joke.
Real Fight...

I'm going to have to agree with Flexingtonsteele, the Takayama vs Frye fight was a classic.
-
I have a lot of favs. Any of the Nog v. Fedor fights are up there. My most recent favorite is Big Nog v. Randy, great fight.
-
for me, it was Sakuraba vs carlos newton at PRIDE 5 (off the top of my head, i'm guessing it was PRIDE 5)
it was a technical masterpiece even though, in retrospect, it's legitmacy may be in question given PRIDE's record of "working" fights for their poster boys
then again, I doubt Newton would go along with the fix

How would someone explain Sak v. Arona than?
-
Diego vs guida is up there also imo.
-

a mugging- that is how I explain it
the arona fight was the "official" end of sakuraba's career imho
arona, basically, dealt the proverbial "finishing blow" that wanderlei had set up

I think Sak should fight the winner of the Frank Shamrock/Pat Militech fight. I hope Renzo beats Matt Hughes.

It is interesting to see that you know about Sakuraba and Carlos Newton!
Not the first you'd think judging by your appearance.
-
Gorilla or bear ???
LMAO I remember that thread hilarious. ;D

That Pride fight with Jo Son in his Leopard G-String

looks can be deceiving
one of my dreams as a kid was to fight in PANCRASE (back in the old "tights and Kickpad" day).
I remember after i saw the first Pancrase PPV (that SEG released after, i think, UFC 4) that i was in awe of that style.
I also remember my mom catching me watching it and totally questioning my sexuality (no joke)
actually, i remember first being enamored with MMA when i watched a UWFI ppv that was shown before SEG did the PANCRASE PPV
btw, i realize that PANCRASE and UWFI weren't exactly "MMA" but they were of the same ilk

sakuraba has the "Fighting spirit" but couldn't beat either of the two right now
in his prime though he would beat either of the two easily

Never could imagine you knew about PANCRASE!
That's what you get from judging a book from it's cover lol!
What happened that made you lose your dream?
Too much training / effort?
-
What happened that made you lose your dream?
honestly, I discovered girls
not trying to be funny either

I got 1:00 through and had to stop because of that goddamned song.
I hate that song. It seems to be on every other boxing/mma, crossfit or military video on youtube.
In response to the OP's question, it looks like two drunk dudes fighting at the end of the night.

Looked like a pair of 6 year olds :-\

You really think a 6 year-old could mess up Takayamas "The Hot" face like this? :D
