For only $25.00 a pop. Your're better off going halfers with somebody and buying it at your own house. When Mayweather/Marquez did this it was only $12.00. What a ripoff, then factor in the $8.00 drinks, the $10.00 popcorn and sea of annoying tapout clad "experts" and you've got yourself a party. How much are they paying you? Or are you just doing this out of the kindess of your heart?

I'm an excited MMA fan. $25 bucks is chump change.

The UFC is bringing in money, no argument about that. There is life outside the UFC though, this whole "you have to fight in the UFC in order to be considered good" way of thinking is just retarded. With the logic between you and Mindspin, it seems that a top 10 win only matters if it's in the UFC and, ordinary fights in the UFC matter more than top 10 wins outside the UFC, either or. Don't believe everything Dana says, remember not too long ago he said he found the next Anderson Silva? (the fainting nurse who went 0-3 in the UFC).

I am not saying that there are no good fighters outside of the UFC. But the MAJORITY of the best MMA fighters are in the UFC.
Most of the good fighters outside of the UFC are not in the UFC because the UFC does not want/need them. This is why Fedor CHOOSING to not got to the UFC is very suspect.
Nick Diaz and Barnett are great examples of talent outside of the UFC. One has countless positive steroid tests, and the other has a bad attitude. Smart by the UFC.
The UFC puts on great match-ups, rankings are secondary.

I laughed when Dana White said that's why he dosen't get Nick Diaz back in the UFC, he has a "bad attitude", and then he continues to let Melvin Guillard have a job in the UFC despite testing positive for marijuana, Cocaine metabolites, and 2 arrests that were cocaine related, that plus he either gets submitted alot, or wins controversial decisions. If he gives Melvin all that slack and he's not even that good he should do the same to Nick. Melvin's not even a top 3 LW at the gym he trains at.

The drugs have nothing to do with Diaz. As Dana has said Diaz does not even want to play the PC role "even a little bit". He even said he likes Diaz. I agree Diaz is way better than Guillard, but Guillard talks to the press in a respectful, professional way most of the time. Have you seen Diaz's interviews? That is the only problem Dana has with Diaz.
Bottom line...does not matter what you do out of the ring. Got to carry yourself in a professional way with the press and when the cameras are rolling. Diaz does none of this. Thinks he is a hard ass doing it too....when in reality he is just hurting himself.

You've never seen Melvin and his antics? He's done some dumb shit and said some dumb shit on camera, like when he tried to attack Rich Clementi post fight after he got his ass tapped. He's done that a few times.

I have seen his antics in the past, but just like Diaz attacking Riggs in the ER after their fight. Diaz has had several second chances. Guillard is on his last leg too, but according to Greg Jackson and Guillard himself, he has changed. Dana has given him a chance. Don't get me wrong, I can't stand Guillard either and would love to see Diaz in the UFC, but on camera, Diaz is a horrible representative of the sport. That is what Dana himself has stated. Like I said earlier, all this behind the scenes stuff is almost meaningless. Got to know how to play the media if you want to be in the big leagues.

I'm glad the keep Melvin around. It's fun to watch that POS get beat regularly. That fight with Clementi is one of my favorites. So much bad blood and trash talk leading up it and again he lost...lol.
-
why hasn't GSP fought in a while??
-
He had to recover from a torn groin muscle that he suffered during the Alves fight...
-
I don't give a shit!!!! Hit him with your groin!!!! >:(

You guys hero, Cock Chestnar is probably the worst on camera personality alive, he clearly didn't represent the sport very well when he flipped Mir off got in his face and cussed at him then proceeded to announced he would be going home and getting on top of his wife, then he bashed on of the UFC's biggest sponsers, all in one night. He almost outdid all of Nick's antics in one night alone.

You must have missed the post where I said Diaz and Guillard have all been given second chances and more. Has Brock acted up since?
Plus he did apologize later at the press conference. Have you seen him act up since?
I have never heard any type of apology come from Diaz's mouth EVER. Guillard has even apologized. (still don't like him though)
Hate Lesnar all you want...just don't hate the guy because you know he would demolish Fedor.

Lesnar only apologized cos Dana White gave him an ear full. I doubt he ever would have sucked on that bottle of Bud Light and ate humble pie if Dana hadn't bitch slapped him back into line :P

I agree 100%!!! At least Brock knows what is good for his career. I wish Diaz would get his act together and do the same. I think Diaz would really give the LW or WW a run for their money.
