Title: Canada vs. USA (Gold Medal Hockey) and ROIDS!!!
Post by: tom joad on February 27, 2010, 04:53:27 PM: How many players on the Canadian and American Olympic men's hockey teams do you think are using banned performance enhancing drugs for their game tomorrow?

Pro bodybuilders (like Chick) always defend their drug use by make generalizations like "News flash: all professional athletes in all sports use illegal drugs."

Call me naive, but I highly doubt that one single player on either Olympic hockey team is using banned performance enhancing drugs.

What do you guys think?

Why do you think this? Because their bodies don't look like pro bodybuilders?

Because every athlete plays in the NHL. And unlike other sports, the NHL has a serious drug testing plan.

LOL so does the Olympics. How many times did they test Marion Jones?

If they seriously tested in the NHL there would be so many positive tests the sport would end up a joke. Do you think they would then make the same amount of money from the game with everyone thinking they are 'cheaters'?

Believe what you want. Some of us know better.

that if any one of them tested positive for banned performance enhancing drugs, then the country would never recover!

(Hockey is religion in Canada, unlike say track & field and Ben Johnson.)
