Title: Ron, please make sure to hold Hugo Chavez to his relinquishing of moderator
Post by: Fury on March 01, 2010, 07:12:19 AM
This Quds Force disinformation shill is one of the biggest flip flopping, attention whoring losers on Getbig. Last time he pandered for sympathy towards his moderator position he got owned and melted down before refusing to give up moderator. He's doing it again and I'm asking the he be held accountable for it. He's already been laying the groundwork for not giving it up with his "I could easily stay as 40 gimmicks of mine have messaged me telling me that I do such a great job and should stay" antics.

It's high time someone not on the payroll of a foreign intelligence service (and someone who has something going on in their life) moderates that board. It's a politics board, not some disinformation shill's personal fiefdom/playground.

Make sure he's held to account for this latest attention whoring stunt!

Do you believe he has IMPD?

I don’t know how politically inclined Chaos is, but this fact alone would make him a good mod for that board.
And if there are no other appropriate candidates soon, then Chaos would do well in that capacity – at least until someone more suited comes along.

Chaos has already proven that he embodies what a mod should be & do.

Chaos would be a good mod. Especially since he doesn't care too much about politics. :)

Moderating a "Positive board" is more work than politics.

There's no point to voting without an actual poll because votes are being deleted.
The exiting mod shouldn't be allowed to handpick their replacement.

So, then hold the vote on a neutral board - THIS BOARD.
People seldom get past the word "complaints" in the title & miss the other parts like "suggestions" & "comments."

You could even start it, Doc.

No point. If Ron actually gave a shit things would never have gotten this far. :)

Yugioh won't step down voluntarily anyways. Someone sincere would just do it and STFU.

I understand your points, Doc.
Do bear in mind, though, that Captain Ron's got a pretty full plate.
I think Ron lives for the site, but he doesn't live on it.
Some things just take a while.
It took over 4 months for him to make me a mod after another mod put in the request.

Has anyone tried contacting him directly regarding this?
Might help facilitate things a bit...

Why would I actively do anything to stop Yugo from making me laugh?

Chaos would be a good mod. Especially since he doesn't care too much about politics. :)

A mod that didn't care about politics would actually be a great choice. There would be no bias like with Hugo and Chaos has done a great job on the Positive board.

I wish mods had the ability to see IP's so we could see who was running gimmicks.

Thanks for the votes of confidence everyone, and if Ronaldo puts me in charge there, I won't do shit, unless I have to.  I hate politics and politicians, so everyone on that board can have their discussions, as long as it stays within the rules.

People shouldn't be able to modify posts here.

Back around 97-98 or so we used to be able to see the IP of a poster.
