NEWARK, — Two New York City police officers are among five people charged with robbing about $1 million of perfume from a New Jersey warehouse.
Federal prosecutors say Officers Richard LeBlanca and Brian Checo and the others are scheduled to appear in Newark's U.S. courthouse at 2 p.m. Friday.
A third defendant, Orlando Garcia, was a former New York City police officer.
According to a complaint, the officers entered the warehouse in Carlstadt on Feb. 9, brandished guns and badges and yelled, "NYPD! Hands up!"
Federal prosecutors say 11 employees of In Style USA's warehouse were held at gunpoint.
Carlstadt police arrived at the warehouse after receiving a 911 call and arrested two of the suspects and seized two trucks.
There's no word if any of the suspects have obtained lawyers.
What an absolute disgrace to the uniform and betrayal of the public trust! >:(

Typical scum bag NYPD cops....Why re their photos not plastered all over the net and news? Will New Jersey now seek crimes against these two or should I say three scumbags being that they committed a crime in Jersey, but are employed in New York? I say FIRE their asses immediately, lose all benefits, pensions EVERYTHING. Jail them in New York, then hand them over to New Jersey for further punishment and jail time.

So you're just posting here to instigate problems with Americans?

not at all.
Most online news sites proliferate with stories that are most frequently US based.
I simply post the stories I find most egrious, and that catch my attention.
There truly is no bias to pick up on US stories, they just happen to outnumber others.
Sorry if I somehow gave you that impression.
I posted a few complaint letters the other day illustrating excess waste in agricultural subsidies in the UK :P

Ever find any excess waste in canda? or how about police abuse? Last time I was there some some african had shot two people and was on the run, it was all over the news.
Is it really that hard to find canadian news?

Not as much as I find in the USA.

If it will make you feel better, I will make a concerted effort to find controversial new stories from Canada to post here. I doubt they will receive very many views, or that there will be those informed enough about the issues in order to create a discussion, ...but we'll see.

As a future mod of this board, I would like to see stories from all over the world. Nobody can convince me that the US is the only country dealing with these issues, we just publicize them while other countries hide them.

Chaos, have you been posting on this board since it's inception?
Because if you had been, you would have seen many of the rude remarks and comments posted when news stories from around the world were posted. Most threads had a dearth of commentary... the few that drew comments had such vibrant discussion like "who gives a shit" we're American... it's foreign who cares... it's foreign it's not to be trusted etc etc.
Personally, I'd love to see the posters around here educate themselves a little more about what is actually going on, both inside and outside of their own borders.

I find it amusing when foreigners post stories about American issues and then get together in threads and talk shit about America and how bad it is, yet none of these issues are exclusive to America, not a single one. Or to insult the intelligence of the American people, while your country(or whoever is posting) has the same exact issues, doesn't make sense to me.
Now you won't find it common practice in America to stone people to death while they are buried up to their neck or to kill daughters for stepping out with boys, like it seems to be in other countries, so those types of issues will get a bigger reaction from Americans than say, your average drive by shooting.
As far as how long I've posted on the political board, that's irrelevant, I'll be running the show soon, so I want to make sure that every country gets it's fair share of criticism.

as far as I can tell, America is the only country that had 911, and government officials actively conspire to cover up the events of that day.

America is the only country I know of that has what you would call "an average drive by shooting" Were something like that to occur, most countries would find that quite alarming, and not at all average.

Wow, you seem mighty confident and sure of yourself? From where does such hubris come?
Oh I forgot... you're American. ::)

Are you claiming that no other countries government conspires against its people?
I've been to canada, I've seen the news......shootings, stabbings, drugs...it's the same and nobody was protesting or making a big deal out of any of it.
Not sure what your last line is about, but I am assuming it's because you're a meek and weak willed person who often gets duped into fronting scams for others to make a profit. I guess that's just because you're a woman canadian.
