try baking soda toothpaste..then soak in hot water, repeat a few times

Peroxide or OxyClean

peroxide with salt generally works. Even window cleaner works. Some people like to spit on it and let it sit (enzymatic action). then wash as normal

When my husband was growing up, there was a lady across the street who stabbed her husband in bed, like 17 times :o Apparently, she cleaned up the mess pretty well, cuz the cops didn't suspect her right away. It took that luminol stuff for them to see it.

I'd go with soaking in oxi-clean , especially after being washed and dried in :)

try a stain stick/spray and cold water washing by hand and see if repeating it will lighten it, then wash again.
Or dye the fabric :D
