Title: A few questions
Post by: calfzilla on March 13, 2010, 05:06:36 PM
All bbing related of course.  ;)

Does a clothes steamer work just as well as an iron?

What are some good tips on decorating an apartment to make it look more stylish?

Which store can you get the best deal on a flat panel tv?

Thanks guys great answers.

BTW a clothes steamer is used to get wrinkles out of clothes, just like an iron.  Just wondering if it is as effective.

Too antiseptic for me.  I like a warmer look.  Less Patrick Bateman, more easy conversation.

Disagree about stainless being easier to keep clean.  That stuff shows every fingerprint and scratches easily.  Ceramic finish or cabinet matching appliances for me (in the future).

the guy had to assemble the lathe also as part of the delivery......he freaked out when i took him to my walk-in gun safe to install it....a scared  delivery man, that was just walked into a room with more than 200 firearms...i should have told him before hand ;D

i haven't been to el paso in about 5 years.....I'm not missing anything...

Well, it depends what mexican chain stores you have around you. However, all-in-all, it's pretty good food. I'd say its one step above taco bell, but one step down from a fancy mexican place. I guess somewhere in the middle between fast food and really good food. If this makes any sense.

for the apartment, keep it simple. not too much furniture or decorations. keep the color scheme basic and simple, dont over do anything or try to make it unique.  make sure everything is clean. get adjustable lighting, so you can have it dim or bright.  buy a nice big painting and put it in the main room.

Damn!  Glad you're ok.  I assume you have talked to a lawyer about how to sue and retire in style.

Maybe you can get one of these instead of a stainless cube.

IMO stylish = no decoration. I like a small number of massive pieces of furniture. They should be all the decoration you need.
