I'm in two minds about this:
On one hand, I feel bad for him, because I like Beckham and his presence alone would have boosted England in the World Cup. Not sure how much he would have played anyway - England do seem to have sufficient midfielders.
On the other hand though, I'm kind of enjoying this - being Scottish and watching England's players dropping like flies is getting amusing - first Cole, then Bridge, now Beckham, they still don't know what goalkeeper they're going to play, and I'm now just waiting for Rooney to burn himself out before the finals. ;D

Fixed on the basis that it's in the southern hemisphere and no european team has ever won it below the equator.

I dont really fancy Spain for it either, but im struggling to think who will win it.IMo theres not any amazing teams out there anymore.Not like the 94 Brazil team or even the 98 France team.I think about 6 teams could take it
