Many people believe that if they take anabolic steroids they will simply grow big muscles without working hard and proper diet. This is untrue. When on anabolic steroids it is important to remember your nutrient absorption abilities are increased and so one should consume 1 gram of protein per 2lbs of bodyweight, an overall 2,500 calories per day and train every body part every 48 hours for maximal gains throughout their cycle.

There's alot of HVI patients that since they started using steroids people will simply look at them and say "damn youre hitting the Gym hard lately!! when they dont workout at all...... If that's not a "miracle drug" what is it?

Actually due to increased protein synthesis eating 2 g's of protein per pound of bodyweight smarter. 1gram per 2lbs is way too low, even for a natural. That would be 100grams a day for someone who is 200 lbs. Basically 2 scoops of whey isolate and a couple chicken breasts -- you think that's enough? For a girl maybe

You obviously know nothing about human physiology and nutrient processing. I sugget getting a college education, perhaps you can work your way through school. many community colleges offer very good work-study programs for people like yourself. The human body lacks the ability to efficiently process more than 1 gram per 2.2-2.0lbs of protein (at the very most), even with elevatated male hormone levels nducing increased nitrogen reuptake, the excess nutrients are stored as fat. The reason pro bodybuilders consume that much protein is because they have insulin, hgh and igf in addition to a variety of steroids (most of which were created for livestock to increase appetite and nutrient utilization for greater meat yielding). Even then, more than 1 gram of protein per 1lb of bodyweight is excessive and gets stored as fat, the reason pro bodybuilders can eat like that and get in contest condition is that the cocktail of clenbuterol, DNP, T3 and ephedrine that they use to "cut" burns their fat stores so quickly that the minimal fractions of a pound the excess protein is stored in on their frame is burned immediately.

How come when I twice stopped consuming large amounts of protein I got weaker and lost muscle? Don't need a course for that you dumb shit. Try picking up a weight and eating more protein than an anorexic female and maybe you'll actually look bigger than a 5th grade dork. You're an embarrassment and should stop giving advice when you clearly have no clue what you're doing. I was bigger than you when I was 5. Go take up hairdressing or something because bodybuilding and working out obviously doesn't work for you. Pretty intelligent when you can't even gain an ounce of muscle. :D

Ok everyone gets it. You went to college(says you) and did some reading(prob from txtbooks from the 60's). You are very good at reciting all the shit you learned. What firsthand field evidence do have proving what you're saying is true? Do you even train and I am serious because you dont look at all like you have ever seen a gym. What before and after photos do you have of people you have applied your bullshit to? Now I am sure you will respond to this your typical "I went to college blah, blah, blah" You got the entire board telling you to fuckoff but what do we know just that probably 100% of us look better than you even though we are doing it "wrong". Go away

You know how I know they are a miracle drug? Because a gram of cyp a wk and 350grms of protein a day would make even a bottombitch genetic deficient like you half a man

That's the thing, just take one look at him and you know these studies are BS. If I want to look like him with no muscle, I eat they way he preaches. This dude may be book smart be he has no clue how to actually build any muscle. I mean, just look at him. He should be embarrassed. The only thing worse would be a fat guy preaching about how to get thin and arguing with people that are already thin on what they should be doing. Incredible, definitely a classic delusional douchebag.

I have compassion and empathy for you since your angry response is clearly one of jealousy and frustration at your lack of education and failure to build an impressive physique. You obviously lack a profile picture of yourself since you are embarassed of your physique, a personal physical reminder of your failures. To actually address your issue, which is that you claim you got smaller and weaker with less protein - that is called the placebo effect. You have conditioned yourself to believe that you need such an absurd amount of protein that is physically impossible to process, so once you took your protein levels down, your body was fine - if not better than before since less fat was being stored - but your mind forced yourself to adjust to the difference in perception that it would have caused. This is a prime example of the psychological principle called cognitive dissonance.

OMG! I would rather hear the Falcon principles than listen to you. So Flexb got smaller not because he cut his protein but because his mind forced him to get smaller? Wow just wow. Cue response of "I went to college" in 3...2....1

Considering that Central Nervous System adaptation is the primary precursor to hypertrophy induced by musce fascia microtears as a resut of chronological weight progression and cognitive dissonance is an accepted and proven psychological principle, yes, that is exactly what happened.

Yea I'm embarrassed, especially considering how huge and massive you look :D You're like the skinny, no muscle geek that comes into a nutrition store with your reading glasses on and a book on nutrition, and then proceed to argue with whoever is working while trying to prove a point that you never will or can. Why? Because you're a joke to everyone. You look like a joke, you act like a joke, and you can't even gain a lb of muscle on your physique. Hopefully one day you'll wake up and realize you should shoot yourself. ::)

Hi, man name is HugeRipped. If you eat 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight, you can look like me! My arms are 13 inch and legs are 19 inches -- pretty impressive measurements if I do say so myself. And what you'll find most impressive is I'm 100% drugfree! That's right, I've never touched an anabolic steroid, ever. I know that's hard to believe weighing in at a 140 lbs, but I only speak the truth. My physique is a testament to my hard work, heavy training ( I can bench 135 for 2 reps!!) and my whopping 80 grams of protein per day diet.
:D :D :D

Your profile picture on a bodybuiding forum is an image of a dog, clearly you are embarassed of a subpar physique. Furthermore, all your posts illustrate your level of education, or lack thereof. You live inside a self made prison, ruled by nutritional guidelines you picked up from the latest copy of Flex Magazine's article on Phil Heath's guide to gaining mass. Perhpaps if you spent a few years at a university of higher learning or dedicated some time to researching actual clinical, peer reviewed studies you would see that your shameful body is a result of athletic specific nutritional ignorance. In the mean time, I will continue to be empathetic towards your situation, I realize not everyone has the means to a degree of higher learning nor the intelligence quotient to understand medical trials on human physiology. Your outwardly aggressive rant on my own body is yet another testament to the glaring jealousy and shame that you live with every day and are reminded of every time you see your own reflection. I would be happy to help you break the cycle of failure and write you a diet plan or a workout regime if you are so inclined to accept it. Please, let me know.

Those days of showing off are gone my little friend. Only one person on this forum actually knows me and knows my competitive history. Sure I could simply post a pic and shut your mouth for good but I don't care enough to bother, plus you're just too much fun. :D
Have you looked in the mirror lately. If you're so knowledgeable, why does your physique suck so bad? Answer me this, I'm looking forward to it

I am compassionate to your situation so I will not continue to verbally debase your subpar body. Based on your feeble responses, it is clear that you are having a negative emotional reaction to this online conversation and my intention was never to rattle you in such a manner. As for my own physique, none of your jealous assaults on me can shake my self-confidence. I know that I have an impressive body, I get asked regularly about tips on working out and nutrition by total strangers. I know that I could be bigger, but given 2 years of solid bodybuilding training and almost a decade of prior lifting for general health I know I am right where I need to be.

Dear "Hugeripped",
IMO You must have a terrible reponse to hormones or they were fake. Giving out random bits of common knowledge isn't needed here either...

I don't think he's even a good poster. He sounds like "Live Healthy" or "Fitness for Life" book. If he was a gimmick I'd understand completely because it's been a funny joke, but I actually think he believes this hogwash he's spitting at us. If he truly believes a gram of protein per two pounds of bodyweight is accurate then why is everyone from natural competitors to bodybuilding guru's to Mr. Olympia believe it takes 1.5g's to 2.5 grams per pound of bodyweight to maximize muscle growth? And the biggest factor to prove their results is their physique. They're muscular and not fat in the least which debunks his theory that extra protein is only stored as fat. And if what he says is true, then why am I twice the size of him and leaner. I eat about 300grams of protein per day. I don't care what a nutrition book or study says. The proof is in the pudding
To even be debating this is pretty much insane.
-

You actually believe optimal growth occurs with only 1 gram of protein for 2lbs of bodyweight? And that excess protein is useless and make yous fat ala Jay Cutler and Phil heath, those big lardo's :D

I think when it comes to protein only the kidneys can tell.

Please reference a study that showed people on steroids who DID NOT work out actually gained more muscle than drug free people who did work out. You lose.
Sad to say that there is a landmark study from 1996 where people taking steroids but did not work out gained almost as much muscle as the steroid free subjects that did work out.
They had three groups.
A. Group that took 600mg of Decca Durabolin and worked out
B. Group that took nothing and worked out
C. Group that took 600mg of Decca Durabolin, and did jack shit.
The A group gained the most muscle, then it was followed up, by the B group, and the C group was not far behind.
I will see if I can find a link... the study got a lot of press around that time, including several articles in Muscle Media 2000, and is considered to be the first definitive study proving that Anabolic Steroids work. Before that, there was some debate in the scientific community to their effectiveness, which as any bodybuilder knows, is absurd.

I thought there was one where they were given 600mg of Deca weekly.
In any event... one can sit on their ass and inject, and be bigger! :)

Wow... the even got bigger! Crazy...the only advantage the guy who trains has, is getting stronger. That is crazy...

HAHAHA! Let me guess you workout at PlanetFitness because no one at any self respectable gym would ever ask you for advice. The highschool kids at my gym have better builds than you.But we all get it, it's cool. You have horrible genetics and have always dreamed of building a better body.To compensate for your genetic shortcomings you got a degree so in some way you could feel superior to all us "meatheads". I am still waiting for before and after pictures of the people you trained proving all the garbage you spout correct. Until then go away. Your feeble comebacks telling us to go to get "higher learning" just make you sound like a bigger ponpous ass. Prove us wrong put down the textbook your just reading out of and hit the gym and show us the pictures."I know I have an impressive body" thats great I havent had a laugh like that in awhile.
