IMO, 90's were my favorite..great physiques, still pretty aesthetic and cartoonish...

Ask any person that follows BB'ing and ask them Best BB'er that wasn't Mr O and either Kevin or Flex is pretty much guaranteed. There was also alot of friendships inside and out......

90's  you had the biggest amount of the general public bodybuilding, thus there was a bigger pool of talent.......and it showed

also, the competitors at this time had access to exclusively human grade gear.......it wasnt the underground, under doesed, mystery-solutions they are sticking themselves with now..........it is my feeling personally, that you can tell the difference in quality when you look at competitors compared from both time periods.........especial ly in the second tier guys

it's the .45 vs 9mm argument, all over again.

I like the 40 cal, but that's just how I roll.

The 1990's by a mile - bodybuilding was the only "sport" I followed back then - nothing else mattered. Pretty sad I know, now looking back on it but there you have it.

Have to say though, 2009 onwards is pretty good with Cutler, Kai, Heath, Wolf, Dexter, Branch, and Freeman all duking it out now.

Have to agree but Jay and Kai...not the type of physiques I like although Branch is a favorite!

But he hunts and wears cool camo hats. And he yells "LIGHTWEIGHT!" So he's a cool guy. Just ignore his ugly, short, bloated, boxy body.

My vote goes to the 70's and perennial gun show champion Ron Burgundy. For the win.

I agree, the 90's were the best years in bodybuilding. I would also add Shawn Ray to your list of uncrowned Mr O.
