According to a recent Gallup survey of underemployment (the "true" unemployment number) via Zerohedge, we are now at 20% underemployment and heading higher if this chart is indicative of anything. Apparently Gallup surveyed 20,000 people over 30 days and this is what they came up with.

Regardless if it's not consistent with the Department of Labor's official numbers, it's nonetheless quite frightening.

No reality based numbers ever really "match up" with what Washington D.C. puts out.

I went on a group interview tonight for Office Manager for a chiro's office. He said in 2 days he got 70 emails. He sent out a questionairre first and application. Based on those he narrowed it down to 30..On the way home I got an email from him requesting a one on one interview. He stated he will only request a few second interviews. It's just brutal out there

You are going to have to freelance and have to offer services to firms on a 1099 basis for awhile.
