I think that love and sexual pleasure are two very seperate things. I'm into open relationships.
Your philosophy is just typical of someone indoctrinated into modern politically correct Western philosophy on relationships. But your way is not the only way.

I dated a girl for a while and we were in an open relationship. Meaning we could both date other people as long as we were honest to each other and the other people we were dating about the whole situation.
It worked out great. I had my girlfreind, but I was also free to flirt and date other people. It was ALL GOOD. The only reason why we broke up is cause she moved to Italy.
There are other ways of doing things.....

That's why honesty is key. If you are both totally honest then you know exactly how many guys she is fucking. And if you don't get jealous then she'll tell you. Also safe sex is important of course. And usually we met each others other partners.
Even though we were in an open relationship neither of us had sex with many other people though. The best part was that if I met an interesting woman I was free to go on a date with her, or flirt with her without that uptight "i'm taken" vibe. The sex part wasn't really the main thing.
This kind of thing works well with a person who is down to Earth and not too crazy. I can imagine an open relationship with a prty animal type of person would be too crazy. But when I did it we were just in a small town and we were both living a really relaxed kind of life.

If your post is actually serious...well, there can be ways to spruce shit up. And I'm not just talking sexually either. Main thing that married people seem to fall into is a routine. Just because you're married doesn't mean that you should stop doing anything that you did when you first met. Surprise her at work, always come up with new ideas for going out, whatever...the only thing that has really changed is you signed a piece of paper.

Someone on either end usually always gets hurt. One person becomes attached while the other continues to be on the hunt. Or one person ends up blurting out how they went on a date...which is also not the best way to have open relationships "ShipSekki." It's usually best to not tell any of your partners that you're dating someone else...open relationship or not.

People get bored to death to be happy for too long, then they get fed with too many soaps promoting adultery,and start cheating on each others cause it adds some spice to their life. They invent reasons to be unhappy, to break things that work, just because they have no real reasons to be unhappy.
Too much hapiness= the need to suffer.
Basically they do their best to create suffering where there's too much hapiness, cause constant hapiness tends to get boring. Then they can whine and make a drama of their life identifiying themselves with the characters of desperate housewives or santa barbara. They feel like they re part of something, they dont feel alone anymore; they re cheaters,they re losers, like all these people around em who fell in the same trap.
And they produce kids who learn dissension and will reproduce it in their own relationships with others in life.
Fact; cheating parents teach their kids to be cheaters once they re grown up.
This is the main side effect of "progress" in our "modern" societies, these are the side effects of technological, social and medical pogresses. Basically people have everything they want and need, and feel the need to destroy it all by themselves cause their life loses it's taste when everything goes too well for too long.
Spanlife is getting longer, gives more opportunities to get bored.
That's why those who constantly challenge themselves and their loved ones and keep their mutual existences stimulating last longer.
Never forget that once you re old and ugly and uninteresting, you ll need someone by your side. And its not going to be your kids.
