This is a sure sign of what is to come. The ink is not even dried on the paperwork Obama signed in regard to this "health Insurance" and already health insurers are denying people claiming PRE-EXISTING conditions. How can a new born have a pre-existing condition? You guys are in so much trouble...

I didn't watch the video but this was already happening before. I guess it's one of the things this bill is supposed to change.

This wasn't in the bill that Obama signed. That's what so silly about this whole issue. Obama HIMSELF doesn't even know what in it, as was demonstrated during his summit with the Republicans AND that interview on Fox News.

It is in the bill.
"The rollout starts with children. Six months from the day the bill was signed (let’s see ... that’ll be Sept. 23, by our calculation), insurers will no longer be able to exclude children with preexisting conditions from being covered by their family policy."

He got it from Fox News.

He got it from Fox News.
even Faux news must have reported that
Healthcare reform legislation prohibits insurers from excluding from coverage children with pre-existing health conditions. This provision takes effect immediately upon the bill becoming law.
how does a news business not report that salient fact?
I assume he just missed it and has no other sources

How much should companies spend on cases like that?

it's gotta be at least as much as a fetus
if not more
I know christians can agree with this

Bad cases can run a million or so to keep someone alive a year. Since all costs will be passed on to policy holders what amount do you think is fair?

I say whatever a fetus is worth, plus present value of future earnings, plus pain and suffering
I say we let the christians decide what a fetus is worth and then add the stuff I mentioned above
we can even leave out the stuff I mentioned above and let the christians tell us the dollar value of a fetus and how they arrived at that number
once christians tells us what a fetus is worth then surely we can agree a baby is worth a bit more
we can work out the details later

A lot of people never earn crap.

Look at what republicans were willing to do for terry schiavo. I don't see how they can't feel the same about this baby, especially with their position on abortion. I guess fuck them as soon as they're born ???

I said we could leave out all the stuff I mentioned
I have no clue what a fetus might even be worth
It gotta be worth something right?

I believe it's illegal to sell them for stem cell research.

I believe it's illegal to sell them for stem cell research.
ok - skip that too
I'll agree with whatever a fetus is worth
-
I could be wrong but I think this might be one of the few provisions of the bill that the Republicans supported.

They're a rather interesting lot aren't they?
They are adamantly against people making life and/or death decisions for themselves and their families,
...but they're perfectly ok with callous and/or insensitive bureaucrats & pencil pushers making those decisions for others, especially while mindful of the big bonus they'll receive for saving their employers money. It truly boggles the mind. Or maybe they just don't give a poop. Being born with a congenital heart defect may make him ineligible to join the military when he turns 18, ...so they don't care to keep him alive since he probably won't be able to be shipped off to die at 18. I guess they figure keeping him alive til 18 might be a waste of food & oxygen. :-\

Are you sure?
