...that he doesn't have a UFC belt ;D

Fedor's Belt Cabinet
-
He has most likely realized that it is better to 'not want one' then it is to be unable to win one :)
-
Or it's killing the UFC HW Champions that they aren't considered the best in the world.
-
as brock lesner would say, those are "make-believe" belts :D

You're wife is make believe Bluto.

fedor was amazing when he fought in pride, but that was so long ago. He just hasn't looked good to me the last couple times I've seen him fight and he's been up against some canned hams for awhile now. I think he likes his legacy being what it is, but I believe he would lose if he came to the UFC. He'd beat a few guys for sure, but I think he'd lose to Brock, maybe Shane Carwin at this point, and maybe even some other guys. Fedor is pretty small for a HW.
-
Fedor is not only a small HW these days, but you have skilled guys like Cain Velazquez and Dos Santos that are a lean 230-250, not a chubby 230-250.
Not to mention the freaks like Brock and Carwin. Fedor was way ahead of his time during his PRIDE days. Times have changed in the HW division.

those guys arent really what i would consider skilled....they are putting black belts on anybody who can win a fight nowadays...

That's a silly observation. Is Big Country Nelson now Lee Labrada? Does BJ Penn have the physique of a Clay Guida or any of the lesser LW's that are diced up? Did Fedor's physique matter in his 30 wins? Of course not. Plus, you have a guy like JDS who is the same weight as Fedor+ an inch or two taller. Cro Cop is still fighting, Noguerra is still fighting and so are cans like Paul Buentello. The only HW fighter in the world who has such a tremendous physique that he is automatically at an advanatage over everyone is Lesnar-- with a whopping total of 5 professional fights coming off of a life threatening illness. The fact of the matter is that Fedor has been outsized by the majority of his opponents at HW, and he has made mincemeat out of all of them. Until these guys actually throw down, or Fedor loses, his physique doesn't mean jack shit and neither does anyone elses.
-
I think Fedor is fine. I think it is worse for the UFC champ not being recognized as the best in world and Fedor is.

For all the UFC guy's ;D

Are you kidding me????? As of November 2009? Nice try ::) :o
-
that is there last official ranking... ::)

that is there last official ranking... ::)
Are you telling me that fighting Werdum validates Fedor's #1 status?
Besides...just because these are the most "current" rankings doesn't make them accurate.
Fedor needs to stop fighting UFC rejects. ;D
-
According to that list, 7 of the top 10 HW fighters are in the UFC, so if that list is accurate about Fedor being #1, then it must mean that the UFC has the best HW division of all fight orgs. :o

And to make Fedor's #1 staus even more questionable is that he is fighting a guy that couldn't even cut it in the UFC.
Hmmmmmmm

That's actually scary. Kinda looks like a lion/tiger when they go from cute to killing machine... :-\
