I still laugh every time I listen to that.

It's pretty funny - if you can get past the denim jacket over top the denim shirt.

This is actually an accepted form of practice in professional journalism.

Actually, we’re laughing, but…

I was a journalism student in college when Mick Foley’s autobiography came out.
In it, he detailed the way 20/20 twisted the presentation of his answers to their questions during an interview concerning backyard wrestling.

For instance, they showed Mick a clip of some teens taking some basic bumps while practicing in a ring. They then asked him, “What do you think of that?”
Foley responded, “That looks like fun. If I was a kid, I wouldn’t mind trying that.”

However, during the edited/aired interview, they showed kids getting smacked with fluorescent light bulbs and bloodied with cheese graders. The interviewer asked Mick, “What do you think of that,” and played Mick’s response to the harmless clip shown earlier.
In reality, Mick said he deplored acts of violence like that when shown that clip in the original interview.
But, you would never know that watching the final cut because they played his answer from a different question.

A similar thing happened to Cena when he was asked if he’d ever used steroids.

Both guys were pissed, but legally, there was nothing they or WWE could do because, TECHNICALLY, the deceitful editing these shows committed is ACCEPTABLE in the real world.
Shame.

I have never seen him out side the Make-Up   and haven't really followed him since I stopped watching WWF  in the early nineties.   But hearing his story had me rolling!

Typical media bullshit. That's why again IMO Randy Savage was the ultimate. He never gave the media the time of day and he made his cash , layed low and retired gracefully from the business.

My copworker met Randy and the rest of the circus at an airport on an out bound flight  he said unlike all the others who were fressed in suites, Randy was in costume....singlasses and  and had a care taker  move him escort him.

Did I ever tell you guys the story about Warrior in a Baltimore hotel room? It was confirmed in several books that I read.

Warrior was in Baltimore as world champion for a show. He checked in as usual, did his thing and checked out. What the fool didn't realize is that he forgot all his juice and garbage in the bathroom. So when the cleaning crew got there to clean, they found a surprise in the bathroom. It was covered up by the WWE and went on un-noticed.

I've heard that story several times.

Certainly believable.
The guy really was a dildo.

It’s also possible that someone fabricated it, since there were so many people who couldn’t stand him.
But, I suspect that if anyone would go through the trouble of spreading rumors, they would concoct something juicier than, well…”juice” left in a hotel bathroom.

Not sure whether there's truth to it or not but that seems a little too sloppy to leave your gas and gas garbage all over the place.

Yes.
True or hoax, I would believe either.

Wonder if snopes can verify it...

One thing I will say about Warrior is that he is very smart and very shrud. He played WWE like a fiddle. Made millions off WWE and won several court cases against them.

Good thing!

I don't think that "Ultimate University" is doing so well these days...

It's a cheap reunion.
