They box this weekend. Seems to me like this is 10 years overdue.(all money). Kind of makes boxing look bad in a sense. Nevertheless, I will watch it at a bar or friends house cause I'm not kicking out all that cash.
I got Hopkins going the distance. I don't see Roy knocking him out. His chin is glass and he's too scared now to take chances. Hopkins will take any win he can get whether knockout or decision. 8)

Boxing is my favorite but it's pissin me off that the heavyweight champs don't fight but once or twice a year. Quality is ok but boxing needs more quantity.

Nah it wasn't. Two peeps way past their primes doing this for money and ego, but who knows it could be interesting? Hopkins said the person who gets a KO gets the lions share of the money. In my opinion that's how all fights should be lol. That would raise interest.

Yea I was on the verge of ordering it, but didn't. Soon as I saw it was $50 I said fuck no. All I was sparing was $40 tops, but $50... you pushin it come on, they know they are way too past their prime to be full of themselves that much?
Mayweather and Mosley is coming up. I will give $50 for that! Hell I would give $100 for it. No doubt it will be good.

this fight is about 8 years late as well...Boxings major down fall is it's lack of ability to get 2 guys in the ring who are both in there prime....It happens but very rarely...

Can we kill this thread, already? The fact that it was a PPV event at that in front of 5,000 fans is a fucking joke.
The fight was an absolute embarrassment to the sport. Definitely not worth any further discussion. Both Hopkins and Jones should be shot, put down, and put out to pasture. They both absolutely destroyed their legacies.
