What did he do wrong guesses/ opinions?

"My leg had turned gray on me," Hazelton was quoted by the Omaha World-Herald in 1993. "I called a doctor in Nevada, flew out there and tests showed I had a three-foot blood clot in my left leg . . ."

"By 1985 he said he was spending $200-$300 a week on black-market steroids, mostly Deca-Durabolin. He estimated he took as much as 1,400 milligrams of Deca-Durabolin, whereas a prescription for the drug might call for a patient to take five or 10 milligrams a day."

What about injection; is it possible his placement or technique effected the result

abused steroids far too much, was on them for years straight, no off time, was most probably doing a load of rec drugs too, he worked on tour as security for famous music artists in the 80's so he had plenty of access to stuff like nose candy etc

didn't pay attention to the warning signs, and held off going to the doc

would reuse needles or share needles with other juicers also
