How much per day, at what times of day and also what ratio of fish oil to flax? I have been doing 3-1 three fish oil and 1 flax twice a day. Is this optimal?

i just pop 1-2 capsules a day, dont think it matters much really.

im guesssing a good doseage as around 5-10 capsules per day.
less than 3 is too little, more than 10 is probably excessive.

I do 6000mg per day (1000mg caps).

Thx. Is that 6 grams daily of just fish oil or do you take other essential fats as well. Would you take less if you were also using flax?

I pop about 3 or 4 fish oil a day then a few evening primrose oil too. I figured I'm probably low in Omega-6's so I added the primrose.

Just in fish oils.

There are enough products on the market that have all the EFAs you need, to where you only have to take about 4-5 pills and your set. No need to complicate things.

Careful following this advices! My body does'nt accept lignan fiber(found in flax) too well! That's an understatement! Remember my thread titled "Flaxseed catastrophe"!!!
Under the suggested advices of my friend Tbomz, I only use Fish and evening primrose oils.

Until your poo smells like sashimi - that way you know some of it made through your entire system and didn't run out at some point. Start with 5 gms and add a gram each day until sea urchinesque feces come out of your asshole.
