This man you worship doesn't care about you, or your cause. He just realizes by getting people revved up, he can make money. This is pretty shocking.
In an interview with Forbes for a story about how his company made $32 million last year, Glenn Beck finally admits what you probably already knew.
Surprise! He’s an entertainer, not a thinker or a political activist. Which is why he calls his own fans idiots. Anyway, here’s the relevant quote — in an article mostly devoted to how he makes big bank, he lets this fly:
With a deadpan, Beck insists that he is not political: “I could give a flying crap about the political process.”Ā¯ Making money, on the other hand, is to be taken very seriously, and controversy is its own coinage. “We’re an entertainment company,”Ā¯ Beck says.

Of course it's entertainment but obviously his personal beliefs guide the direction/slant of his show. If he had democratic/liberal/progressive views that would be the direction his show would take, no?
