Question: If I want my chest to grow faster than other body parts, can I add in additional clean calories on days that I train chest?
Answer: Let me check with my GB friends who are experts on the matter at hand.
This sounded absurd on the surface, however, there maaaaay be some validity to it....maybe. We all know that muscles grow outside of the gym while recovering. So, why not flood the damaged muscle with additional growth nutrients to enhance development? Would the additional calories all go directly to the recovering chest? That is the question. Is this the dumbest thing you've ever heard or not?

Feeding the damaged muscles with additional clean nutrients may work in principle, but any excess calories that the body doesn't need will more than likely just get stored as fat. There will come a point of diminishing returns and you won't be able to stimulate muscle growth forever like that. When fat storage takes over, the body's estrogen levels actually increase and you could find yourself actually catabolic.
Besides, you can't really pick and choose which muscles you want to grow faster than others, if you want to improve a lagging bodypart you concentrate on focusing training that part consistently and just hold back a bit on the parts that are already developed.

Taken under advice, I think ill hit chest 3 times a day. 20 sets per workout, 7 days a week, Ill look like Arnold Circa 1974 in no time.

100% incorrect.....but coming from someone who goes to the gym just to stare at the big guys and ridicule them in his mind, no surprise.
Hit a bodypart MORE EFFECTIVELY and it will grow, you still need to recuperate

Yesterday I attached a single handle to the low- pulley row machine. you know..the one that you sit on the long bench and put your feet in the stirrups and then row to your stomach?
So I grabbed the handle and laid out my arm flat on the bench, getting a full stretch... and just did 6 sets of curls for each arm like that...my bis are screaming today.

yes, but not to make the chest grow faster than other body parts, but to make it grow faster than it usually would.... assuming that the normal calorie level is near or below maintanence...

So, calorie level is below maintanance def in shedding mode. Howevere, ONLY on chest day would the cal level increase dramatically flooding the damaged chestand causing it to grow more than other bodyparts. . Does this make sense ? Seriously?

I believe Mike Arvilla claimed to have done that workout and said it worked. It was something like doing 1 set per hour and eating in between. LOL

Dov I have never heard of this, its overall total calorie maintenance for the entire body. If you go below the maintenance level you lose weight go above and you gain weight very simple. Now if you are trying for a contest ripped physique water and carbs come in to play.

Hahaha that was the gayest thing ever written. Something about doing like all these sets of curls etc, wait 3 hours or so and repeat a few times over the course of the day. The same magazine also recommended these pro-type of workout splits (i.e. hitting back every 3 days) without ever mentioning drugs. Flex was truly a shitbag magazine.

yep, they had all different types of variations of that,,, i tried it once or twice.
something like, you start early in the morn, with a bi - tri move and do like 6 or 7 sets each, then every hour or 90 mins after do 2 or 3 sets of a dif bi tri move, again 60 - 90 min later, do the orig moves at 2 - 3 sets, so on and so on alternatiting moves every 60 or 90 block. do this all day and feed all day, along with bcaa supps creatine, glutamine etc.,
basically you get that residual swell the next day that stays for a bit, theory is taking a few steps forward, filling the arm up with the glyc and the following workouts you'll keep some.
dont think you gain a whole inch but you do keep a pump all day, which is the heart of the idea and you keep using strectching and pumping type move with 2 or 3 "feeder" sets, like 10 - 12 reps.
do it like once a month because overuse/train risk injury etc., haven't done that in a while,,, gotta do on a day off when you have the time to hit a few moves every hour or so.
anyone tries it, post your thoughts, its like the one day arm routine, easy enough to find
