the eagles pulled the trigger to quick dumping mcnaab for next to nothing. they should have waited traded him for rothesberger if kolb fails they still have vick for week 4 and rothesberger for week 7 if necessary. they still could trade vick for rothesberger vick would get a chance to start for steelers out of the division and eagles would have rothesberger for week 7 just in case kolb doesn't pan out. they should also draft a qb tonight.

The must be confident enough in Kolb to have drafted him high and then get rid of McNabb. I don't think they will let him fail. I give Andy credit for taking that chance! You fans don;t realize how great a guy Reid is. He is the best coach in our division! Right now they are just taking 3 steps back(McNabb, West brook and Dawkins last year) to move 20 steps fwd in the future. Dallas is doing the same. You love these franchise guys who have been here around but change helps keeps things affordable! Not sure why they even got Vick but he'd make great trade bait if they plan to sign a seasoned vet thats cheaper.

I was ok with him till he called Witten a rat. That happened at the Saturday before a game I went to and I heard it almost got ugly. Then during pregame he tried to burry the hachet with Jason a number of times and Witten gave him the look of "fuk off"! Whn it was obvious they were going to win that game, they hugged on the sidelines but it was so close. Stuff he does like that gets to me....but he's like Kobe, when he's hot he's hot as hell!

i hope they struggle like last year 11-5 record i'll take that and a trip to the playoffs any year, i have a feeling that eagles may be 8-8 this year but that's okay if it's a rebuilding year. all teams are weaker in all sports due to economics even the mighty yankees dumped some big salaries after winning the world series over my beloved phillies, which really phrustrated me.
