You all hate the UFC so much and swear that all the best fighters are in other orgs, so.......
1) What org has the best fighters?
2) What org should be on TV selling PPV fights @ $44.95?
3) Since you are all so convinced the best fighters are in other orgs, where/when can I watch some of these other fighters? (Please don't post some youtube crap from years ago, I'm living in the now, I'd suggest you do the same.)
4) Many complaints arise out of the quality of UFC PPV's, so which org has put on a better quality PPV than the UFC in production and fight caliber? (Again, live in the now people.)
Can I get some straight, no bullshit, nuthanging, ballgargling answers here?
Thanks fellas.

I actually like the UFC, they have most of the best fighters in the world, but not all of them. That's why I watch all of the MMA that I can regaurdless of the org's, and that's why I can say I'm a fan of MMA. I just like to watch a good fight. Then there's children like you, who claim to be fans of MMA, yet you spend half of your waking hours with your face in Dana's lap and the other half complaining about anything that dosen't have an octagon emblem plastered all over it.

Just like I have been saying all along. The UFC does have MOST of the best fighters. Glad you finally admit to seeing it the way I do.
Who is the child here? I never once have made an immature comment on this board toward the bashing you and several others send my way.
All I hear is balls this, nuthugging that, face on Dana's lap, etc....real mature :o ::)
As always, I just prove my point and wait for immature comments to come my way.
Seriously, it does not bother me. I like the debates.

I love the UFC haven't missed a single event in many years...The UFC is by far the greatest MMA org there is and I have never said otherwise...What I have said is be carefull believing everything Dana White says...And I have also stated the heavyweights outside the UFC (Fedor,Overeem,Barnett)are Superior to the ones currently in the UFC(Brock,carwin,Cain)....but...make no mistake about it...The overall talent in the UFC(lightweight,MW,WW,and light heavy)is far far Superior & has far more depth than all the other MMA org's combined....
-
UFC has the best talent pool bar none except at HW.

pride was better...but they are gone....i will watch any mma fight that comes on tv....

lol - lots of funny shit on this thread. The bottom line is that the UFC is in fact offering the best MMA fights & fighters out there. Anyone disputing that is just a scorned twink still clinging to the good old Pride days.
That said, the 2nd best org out there that is putting together some sweet-ass fights is Bellator. I missed the tournament last year, but have been watching this year, and so far every fight I've seen has been action packed and had dramatic endings. The talent isn't a high as the UFC but it's definitely worth watching.

I don't think we are UFC haters.
We just don't understand all the ball licking of the UFC that goes on by a few posters here.
Instead they should be called "Fedor Haters" since that is more of the case.

Can't speak for all the UFC fans here, but I actually like Fedor.
I do hate the Fact that he has been fighting cans and UFC rejects. He's tarnishing his legacy a bit.
Hopefully this clears up any questions you may have had on my stance.

You tarnish your legacy by beating top 10 ranked HW's?
Look at the "cans" Lesnar has fought.

Lesnar does not have any legacy to protect, nor do I think he is necessarily better then Fedor.
Yes, it is a tarnish to Fedor's legacy to fight guys barely in the top 10.
Including Werdum, Fedor's last four fights have included 3 UFC rejects.
That is almost embarrassing.

You mean two UFC Champions and two more top 10 fighters.
How is that embarrassing?

Rejects? The UFC wouldn't pay Arvloski what he wanted so he left them. He rejected them. They may say now they don't want him but they wanted him when his contract was up 2 years ago.

The UFC saw that he was not worth his asking price. So they declined signing him. Looks like they made the right choice huh?
They did the same thing with Hendo. So far, looks like they did the right thing again with him.
Smart guys those UFC bosses are! ;D

They wanted both fighters none the less and couldn't come to terms with them. Hell if Paul Daley would have signed with them the first time the UFC offered him a contract he would making alot less. He made more going to Affliction and than coming to terms with Dana.

And another organization paid him what he wanted. UFC lost Arlovski to another organization by losing a bidding war. After that, their image got tarnished when Arlovksi got knocked out by Fedor. OF COURSE they're going to say they didn't even want Arlovski. But facts are facts.

You think there is another org out there that can outbid the UFC ::) The only fighters Strikeforce is signing, aside from Fedor, are fighters the UFC does not want. Strikeforce has fedor becasue Fedor is too much of a pussy to face real competition in the UFC.

UFC wanted Hendo but wouldn't pay his price.
-
They didn't want him bad enough to over pay for him.

There's always people who can outpay the UFC, When Gil Melendez first won the Strikeforce LW title he was making 30 grand a fight, When Sean Sherk won the UFC LW title he made 25 K a fight. The lure of the UFC isn't pay by a long shot, it's exposure more than anything.

The numbers that are reported to the athletic commissions don't necessarily tell the whole amount fighters are paid. If some orgs pay more then the UFC are there is usually a reason. Hendo is a prime example. I am sure the UFC would have loved to keep him, but not at all costs. Strikeforce needed his name more then the UFC did. Just like Affliction needed Arvloski's name more then the UFC did.
Nothing against Hendo or Arvloski, but this is why I often refer to these guys as UFC rejects. These other orgs pick up guys that the UFC has no place for anymore.
"One man's garbage in another man's treasure" ;D

I'm not sure you have any idea what you're talking about. You do realize that the UFC is a for profit business right? They are not going to pay a fighter any more than they have to. And if they get into a bidding war over a fighter, they will be able to out bid any of the current orgs. In fact, they use the bidding for fighters strategy to bury their competition. Look at what happened to EliteXc, IFL, Pride, etc. They're doing the same thing to StrikeForce now. Dan Henderson is the perfect example. They drove his price way up, forcing StrikeForce to overpay for him. Now their stuck with a guy who they paid too much for and who just lost big time. Jake Shields is next. Dana wants him bad, so I'm sure he'll get him. This will be a big blow to StrikeForce.
And you're right. The UFC does offer significantly more exposure to its fighters, which translates to significantly more sponsorship money to the fighters.
-

I know exactly what I'm talking about, if you want a really quick payday the UFC isn't always the obvious choice for guys. If you want longterm security and exposure you'll go with the UFC.
