Savage is by far my favorite radio host.

Great clip, I'm not a fan of the law though. I there there are much more effective and constitutional ways to crack down on illegal immigration though, i don;t care that they're targeting hispanics but when laws like this start getting passed it's a slippery slope. I don't want to live in a police state.
How about no welfare or free ER for illegal immigrants, repeal the 14th(or 16th, not sure) amendment which allows these scum to hop the border, pop out their dozens of hell spawn and the kids are automatically citizens, go to businesses which are known to hire illegals and crack down. Basically make their lives as non citizens hell. Take away their ability to get jobs, healthcare, free schooling for their kids, welfare and they will go home. It disgusts me that these freaks get section 8 apartments and food stamps, healthcare and their gang member kids getting free schooling while hard working white americans who have payed into the system their whole lives to support slugs like this are living in tent cities not knowing where their next meal will come from because they fell on hard times. Disgusting. We have surplus labor in this country, kick the damn mexican primitives out and let americans take those jobs. The sense of entitlement among these mexican trolls makes me sick to my stomach..
These supposedly 'low paying jobs' are subsidized by the government through the food stamps, free apartments and other perks these primitive mexican scum get, not to metion they pay no income tax. Unemployed Americans would be more than happy to fill these positions, they are easily $15+ an hour jobs if you add in the welfare these illegals get.

X2
But I think this law is the first step to allowing cops to enforce the laws that already exist.

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!
-
just old white reps trying to stay in power.
I think all sane immigrants that want to work here should get a quarterly work visa. Don't make them full citizens. They wouldn't have all citizens rights. Therefore the Min. wage doesn't apply, no guns for them, etc.. Tax them. let them work to be US citizens after a given amount of time. Helps the economy of both nations.

me too.

Outstanding clip.

Savage is the only host on a national level who speaks with such honesty.

If you tell a business who they can and cannot hire, isn't that the same as telling them who they should hire and how many like the affirmative action that so many people rail on about?
About the free healthcare and citizenship, I have a mixed opinion on it. As it stands, illegal immigrants are a seminal part of the U.S. economy now. As long as a business wishes to maximize their profit margins and the cheap labor is there, they will use it. Take away the immigrants, they will hire off the books. Stop that, something new will take its place.
-
We need to take action on many parts.

At least if they hire off the books it will be American citizens. I think that is the point.
-
Apparently this law is just a copy of a federal statute that was ruled on in the 90's
so a common law like this bill has been on the books for over a decade...

I understand your point, but two wrongs don't make a right. I remember that way back in the day, many of the jobs the immigrants took were jobs that U.S. citizens were 'above' doing. I suppose the boss smartened up and figured that he could just hire them for those jobs as well as others to improve the profit margin.
Let's be serious, the immigrants aren't taking jobs. Businesses are GIVING jobs. Put the heat where it really belongs. The immigrants (when I say immigrants, I mean undocumented and illegal) are not the real problem.

LOL ppl who have this outlook really dont know the ins and outs of this situation imho...while I agree that this is a major problem and it needs to be addressed this is only a part of the REAL problem...
illegals create their own markets here in the US there are self sustaining areas of illegals and even if there wasnt you really think that they are going to go back to mexico? better to be homeless here than in Mexico!!!!!!!!
also no matter what you do there will always be companies and industries that skirt the law to help boost profit...attacking the employers is only one part not THE PART of immigration reform...
you could look at it like this too, business wouldnt be able to "give" the jobs if immigrants werent here to take the jobs...
this is a problem that needs to be attacked from multiple angles...securing the border, stopping the hiring of illegals and deporting the illegals in country...doing simply one and not the others will garuntee failure and is simply masturbation without the payoff. ;)

I think you would like Jay Severin. You can listen to him online at www.969bostontalks.com
Give it a shot.

Imagine how much better off this country would be had we elected Pat Buchanan in ANY of the elections in the past 22 years.

If you cut off the source of nourishment to a situation, you kill the fruit it yields. You can attempt to pluck the fruit, but more will grow in its place. If you kill the tree, it'll end it once and for all.
At the end of the day, we are the visitors that never left in this country. We gave ourselves papers and now try to tell other people they are the outsiders. :)
Follow the money trail and you'll know where to focus your efforts.

LMAO youll never be able to kill the tree ::) is my point
at the end of the day the native americans were taking land over from each other all the time and we did the same... ::)
we established a govt and yes those who are within the system get to determine what happens within the system just like if would have been if the indians still lived here...
-
The issue is also that many of these people are pumping out anchor bombs and bankrupting the taxpayers in the interim.

Go, Savage!

Well, it started out reasonably enough, he made sense, was articulate, measured, well reasoned...
...then I realized he had a teeny weeny bit of an hispanic accent, and couldn't possibly have been Savage.
Sure enough... the idiot then spoke up... and I realized the idea of Michael Savage actually offering intelligent, well reasoned opinions is nothing more than a pipe dream that will never ever be.
-
What did he say that was wrong?

There was no country, no laws, no immigration system or legal system when Europeans came here.
So what laws did they break?
Just because Native Americans were here, it didn't give them any sort of dominion over the land, especially when they were nomadic people, fighting among themselves.
You, like any other person who apologizes for the criminals of present day, would have a better arguement if the Native Americans had a sovereign nation with laws. But they never did. Now there is a sovereign nation called the United States. Has been a sovereign nation for over 200 years. With its own laws, including immigration laws. Those that break it, are criminals and should be deported.
Do you whine this bad when Guatemalans and Colombians are sent packing by Mexican authorities? Do you?
-
I'm reading a book now about our founding. To think that the indian tribes were some type of unified people with similar values , ideals, goals, beliefs, etc is beyond ludicrous.
-
What did he say that was wrong?
Nothing. Everything he said is 100% true. The majority of Americans, I'm sure, agree with the Arizona bill. The govt. won't do anything because they're afraid of alienating Hispanic voters.
-
I just listened to the clip again. Savage is not only 100% correct, he is 100000000000000000000% correct in his clip.
