So much for dieting..........one extreme eating habit to another.
I just love junk food, i know how obese people think now.

heard that, my nightly klondike bar intake is up 200% in the last 3 months since new GF. It makes me not give a rat fuck about gym or eating well

well, i box so that was 1 1/2 hours of cardio a day and i was eating 1700 calories per day.
It wasnt so much the amount that bothered me but it was just the daily grind of eating vegetables and chicken that drove me nuts.

Ive been averaging 4000 calories per day with no training and i only weighed 143 when i started binging

why not just drop the cardio to 30-45 minutes eod, up your cals to 2000 and have some cheats here and there?
take it easy, if youre not competing.

true i guess........but im just an extremist, i like to see results as quickly as possible.
And when i like to cheat junk food i really really let myself go
i cant drop the cardio, i got a boxing match coming up sept......ill have to start training again next week to get ready

Not to be a dick but technically it's not a binge, since that would be short lived. This is more like a prolonged stuffing of your face.
So lift hard 2-3x a week and call it a bulk. Piece of cake.

its all about goals i suppose. what you want, and what you are willing to do, or give up, to get it.
if you truly want to be ripped, then food is the sacrifice. if you care more about enjoying food than looking good, then you gotta sacrifice that lean look.
BUT whichever you choose, be 100% behind your decision...or you won't be happy. go all out in one direction. going half way just takes you in circles of dieting / binging....
Truth in this. Here I am trying my best to get rid of my winter insulation and the wife brings back an ice cream maker yesterday "for summer", looks me in the eye and says "You love your food, your 40 years old, you don't need to impress anyone anymore and I love you no matter what shape you're in, so just relax and enjoy your life - it's not like you're going to stop working out".
I was 100% behind my decision to cut down a little and I was happy. Now....who the fuck knows?

LOL, in brief I competed in a bunch of shows for many years (1978-1995). I never won any national title , only a few Mr Podunks despite a lot of time, energy and effort over the years.
Over the past couple yrs I got back into being a fan of pro sports after many yrs of being away.
Now, I have fun , but still feel the need to workout and try to stay in shape ON MY TERMS

I said screw it myself and ate all those foods I avoided for years when I competed. Over the past decade I plumped up to my current perma bulked aka fat shape hehehe. It was fun, but seriously, the bathroom distress alone after I pigged out has gotten old I am back to a much better diet now.

Thats exactly what I do when I hear people "struggling" with food choices.

Right! I agree it all comes down to the amount of food/cals.
The thing is, eating foods you love often = too much of it and get fat hehehe

im dieting today,
ate a nice breakfast 4 chickenwings, some bread, jam,milk, a couple of fries with ketchup= 650 cal
after training pizza= 750 cal
so gonna have 2 shakes today and maybe some rice and cheese+apples,had 3 coffee lots of cream/lots of sugar= 650 cal+
TOTAL 2050cals
probably 150 gr protein
so i ate nice food and will lose some fat today, sweet apples fil fil me up tonight, so no hunger, why make it so hard

the problem is people try to lose too much weight as fast as possible
1 - 2 pounds a week seems to be the goal for most and that just drove me crazy and caused me to binge
what seems to work for me is losing only about 2 pounds a month, that's a slow pace but it adds up over time, no more going to bed hungry and thinking about food all day
