Bob said on PBW that Wolf will win. Bob, what exactly did you see in Wolf in his guest posing that makes you think he will win? I don't get it. I think Dan was more on point with the Freeman pick.
-
I see a guy who has beaten Toney the last 2/3 Olympias, returning to form...
Toney is no slouch, everyone knows I'm a big X man supporter, and Dennis will have to be on his game...
-
Bob is mandated to only pick Ami sponsored athletes. :D
I hope Wolf takes it though.

Can you help him chick, looks smooth last I saw I like Wolf but he is taking to the wire here.

LMAO ;D
-
I don't see this happening...Wolf is to far off, with many guys bringing their A game...
-
people are forgetting that wolf was a top 5 contender in 2 of the last 3 olympias
when he is on, it would be very difficult for tony freeman to defeat him
though those photos of him guest posing this past weekend are a cause for alarm
-
Seriously, I have been rolling my eyes every time people have questioned Wolf, but I'm starting to lose faith myself. If he fails now, I won't count on him anymore.
-
I got Wolf in 4th.
1st-Toney
2nd-Roelly
3nd-Hide
4th-Wolf
5th-Ben Pak
Mark it down people. ;)
-
BOB - weider
WOLF - weider
BOB - BSN
WOLF - BSN
:D
-
Bob has his choice - he gets more of them right than wrong...
However, it looks like it may be a battle after his guest posing pics.
But - many things can happen in a week...

cannot agree more :)

There ain`t that much drying out in the world!!
-
I think wolf will look fine especially if he gets his colour right for once.
-
Chick's right... wolf will win...
-
Wolf didnt impress me as much with his recent guest posing, but no doubt he will turn things around and put the rest of the ebony midgets to shame ;D
-
I think Ron Avidan is going to take the win, Big Ron.
-
Just a small point: I saw Toney in Orlando and he was already shredded. He looked leaner and tighter in Orlando then Wolf does in the pics from Pitts last weekend. Both Toney and Wolf are bigger guys, so the Bigger guys hold more water theory crumbles.
-
maybe it'll be a case of Soft huge Wolf, vs. skinnier and leaner Freeman.
-
He is def still a top contender but hes for sure outta shape 1 week out bad lighting or not. Kai greene looked more straiated in the pics.
-
i hate this BIG guy bullshit, one is 6'2 other is 6' .. hardly GIANTS

it's all relative. In bb that's really tall.

I need to look at the entire line up of entrants BUT based on the Pitt Guest poser pics, Wolf did appear off ,for a week out.
-
Martin Kjellstrom has the same problem,
a big guy who holds a lot of water

If only Martin looked like that from the front!!! Super cool guy... Sorry for all his current troubles.

Toney was 3rd in Phoenix because he was holding water, and 5th at the ASC for the same reason...Toney generally stays leaner all together, nothing to revealing there.
looks like my theory of biger guys holding water, still holds.....uh... water!

If that is the case, I am going with Toney

C'mon Bob admit it, you couldn't hit water if you fell off a boat ::)

if you don't mind me asking....what current troubles? i've been away for a few months

True... I wasn't in Pitts, so I'm going strictly off of pictures, and what people that were there have told me... BUT I don't think Wolf will take home the win in NYC.
He'll qualify, but I'm putting my money on Toney. Roelly in 2nd... Hide 3nd. Wolf 4th... and Ben 5th... Now Gustavo could come in and ruin my whole top 5...
Your Big Guy Theory lives to see another day!

Yes sir...
Aint no way in hell Hide places ahead of Wolf....
You going?
-
X ... over Wolf
-
Wolf will win.....all the muscle he needs at the moment is there to beat Tony. He will dry out and show all his new thickness in his back and arms.
-
Yes sir...

You going?
Yeah, I'll be there! Looking forward to this one, actually. Going to be a great show.
I'm assuming you'll have your customary best seat in the house?
If you'd have said no way Toney places ahead of Wolf, I'd bet you dinner... but Hide may not... We'll see.

Are you just blind or truly that ignorant. Wolf is carrying too much body fat especially in his rear. You're not going to tell me that both of these guys have the same low body fat. This is not just about water when it comes to Dennis Wolf.
-
I pick the oiled up man in a thong who gets wolf whistles from the 95% male crowd.
-

Wolf was 1 week out
Martin is tanned and dehydrated/ at the show
Learn the difference

You just keep making a fool out of yourself with your arrogance and ignorance. I was talking about body fat and proving the fact that Wolf carries too much fat 1 week out when he should only have to worry about water and not chubby butt cheeks. But again, what do you know about shredded glutes and hams? Those features eluded you for your entire career.

OK..you're obviously the expert here...so where do you figure "fat ass" will place? Certainly not in the top 5 right?
I made my prediction, lets see yours...and get the excuse book out.

I don't know where he will place.
I'm pointing out that Dennis Wolf still carries too much fat one week out. For someone who has so much at stake, he should look leaner, period. It's not just about winning a 3rd tier show... it's about making a huge statement that he is back and can be legitimately recognized as a serious Mr. Olympia title contender again.

Great, so you really dont have any point...so what will your position be when he wins? That he wasnt ready a week out??

Are you really that ignorant??? He may win a 3rd tier show or he may not. I'm sure there is a good chance that he may qualify for the Olympia in such a weak field. Point is that he is carrying too much bodyfat and he doesn't look like someone who has done his homework to be considered a serious threat again. Heck, you qualified for the Olymia via the NY Show (formerly NOC) but nobody ever considered you a threat based on your showings.
-
:) Great Field. Taken from flexonline.com. Chick sure went out on a limb here predicting victory for Dennis Wolf. What a bold move. ::)

NY Pro is not a third tier show.

NY Pro is not a third tier show.
I was just waiting for someone to say that. Did you take a look at the competitor's list?
Here's how it goes:
Olympia 1st tier
Arnold 2nd tier (cause Mr. Olympia never competes there except for Ronnie 1 yr)
All other shows 3rd tier

So you believe taking stabs at me makes you look smarter?
Wolf has placed in the top 5 twice in the last 3 years...yep...guess he's probably finished.

it is if you're living in a 3rd world shithole lol

Jeff Long is still competing? I would of though his third kidney would of melted by now

I guess he figures he can get in the top 12 this time for some pocket change.

oh ok t y
-
Is Toney even competing? Figured he would rest up until the "O"...
Where's Lonnie's pics?
Lastly, Bob, I know you are a Wolf Supporter but are you maybe 1% more biased as he is a colleague at BSN?
-

there is a difference between the NY pro (which has alot of history), and the ironman (when it was still around)........as compared to other circuit shows like the europa or the austrialian pro
the ny pro is not quite at the level of the arnold, but holds a lot more weight then the others
it goes like this:
olympia and arnold: 1st teir
ny pro: 2nd teir
the rest: 3rd teir
-

You just can't admit that Wolf is holding too much body fat in his rear that close to a show. That's the entire issue at hand. Your ego and the fact that you and Dennis are now on the same payroll cloudes your judgement. I'm totally impartial. I even mentioned that Dennis Wolf is the true Mr. Olympia 2007.
Btw... taking stabs at you is fun ;) as you have no problem dishing it out yourself. Relax... you made it to the Olympia stage which is certainly an accomplishment you can be proud of but you were never a threat or a force in the pro ranks unlike Dennis. So, people expect more from him.
-

You have a point but the NY Pro doesn't have the same flair as the old NOC used to have. With that said, I wouldn't place the NY Pro any higher than a regular IFBB pro contest.
-
is there a webcast planned?

oh i would.

Roelly for the win!!
Wolfe just isn`t conditioned enough even if he is able to drop an ocean of water.
Just my opinion,but I know I`m right!! :)

I dont have to admit it, I disagree with your assessment...water is what he's holding, not fat. Had you seen him up close, you would have a better perspective
-
Mr Nobody,3rd. place is too high.........more like 6th. IMO
-

Let's agree to disagree. Nothing wrong with that. I enjoy the mental stimulation that comes with debating.
-
like to see roelly win. moms n roells are something new fresh w/an ole madam flavor. x is too old n wolf aint in it to be a champ, will make a good show for 2010 so he can con BSN to keep sponsoring him thru 2012. Chick got Wolfe. What company he gets a check from again?
-
Jeff Long is still competing? I would of though his third kidney would of melted by now
Hes alot smaller then he used to be, which is probably why hes still alive lol
