I have an epic beard. Yes, really. Not nearly epic enough, though. The longest hairs are only about 4" long, but it tends to curl so the overall appearance is about 2.5" in length.

This is the only type of beard I can see myself growing considering my shaved head.

Now that I look at myself, I seem to be creating a front-face mullet: business up top, pleasure down below.  ;D

up until a few months ago, I looked like grizzly adams lol... my baby would grab a handfull and pull.  I got sick of that so shaved.  Now I'm sporting something that looks like a character out of tombstone lol  I'm in Wyoming so it's not uncommon to see big mustaches and beards.

Unfortunately not. :( I have one of those pointy skulls. Shaving my head makes me look like a conehead. ;D

My "baby" does that too. Only I'm married to her and she's a plumper. Brings a tear to the eye!

BTW: Grizzly Adams was cool. It was even broadcast over here (Holland) when I was a kid. :D

it's funny how humans always look back and think how much better things were or how much stronger so and so was.  I'm sure men born in the 1890's grew up thinking men born in the 1940's were not as tough, just as i'm sure men born in the 1850's grew up thinking men born in the 1900's were not as tough.

Think? Just listen to the speeches and audio. Look at how those men carried themselves through life. Much different then the "leaders" we have today.  ::)

It's saying something when the people of the UK vote Churchill as the greatest Briton of all time.

Read any book about Patton and what he went through.  Yes KC - he was far tougher than the fags we have today.

Two words: Theodore Roosevelt. Read up on him, and weep about the draft-dodging gaybabies we have as politicians now.

I'm not saying these weren't great men, they are but like i said we have a tendency to look back on things with more reverence.  It's why shit*y bands from the 60's and 70's are 'cool' with college kids because you know "music was music back then not like it is now".  Same thing with these great gentleman,  we overlook the leaders and 'men' of today and think things used to be so much better, men so much stronger etc.

As for music, bro- the metal created in the 80's is still the best to me bar none, and even young kids agree.  The music is not even close.

Ummmm, music in the 60's and 70's was better than the shit today and the leaders of the past were certainly stronger leaders and men, than what we have today.  What is your point, exactly?

oh please that's as subjective as they come, my point is everyone looks back on the past with reverence and thinks it's better in some way, shape or form.  Thinking however, doesn't make it so.

I'm going to agree with KC in the sense that most bands in the 60s and 70s were grossly overrated...now 80s metal...shit doesn't get better than that!  Those guys could actually play!
