Continue to be an upstanding citizen with a decent haircut.  Otherwise, drive your RV/van to Venice and join the hippies, vagrants, and other scourges on society.

This is very judgmental. When I was in college, my "mentor" was a homeless dude. we used to hang out (no KY) at lunch time on wednesdays and fridays; this was before cell phones; he would "nod" at me when walking out of the engineering faculty building and I would grab some subway for both of us and meet at the fountain. The best 5 bucks I've ever spent on a weekly basis; the guy would lecture on stuff you can't event get from a 350$/hr business consultant in the corp america world to elaborate on.

GodSpeed to him wherever he's soup kitchening at now. He changed my life and helped me make good decisions and be happy "NOW" in every step of my life. I'm successful (even by getbig "standard" and part of the drive came from that bearded freak (no homo)) because of him mainly.

Not to sound too judgmental, but if he was really so smart, don't you think he was wasting his life by just being a homeless bum, nodding at young students in hopes of getting some free Subway?

I have no problem in being happy and enjoying your life, but I also feel we all have a responsibility to contribute to society if we are so able.  Of course, we all do that in different ways, but living in a van, looking for a handout so you can buy weed for the day won't garner much sympathy from me...

People succeed by action not by words. He made bad decisions and thought me what he learned from it. Wisdom and sucess dont' allways go hand in hand. Willingness to act on that wisdom is key but very few do. Instead, many turn to instand gratification. Once the buzz wears off, the wisdowm usually remains and eats them with remorse. I was just lucky enough to be at right place to learne from it.

Fluffer: Arnold Schwarzenegger Denies Rumor

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The speculation that actor turned politician Arnold Schwarzenegger had worked as a fluffer at some point of time might have come as a rude shock to the ardent followers of the Governor of California. However, his large number of fans do not need to get scandalized any more as the 62-year-old much acclaimed actor has made it made it clear that he never adorned the responsibilities of a fluffer in pornographic flicks. For those who are wondering what let people to presume that the “Terminator” star worked as a fluffer here is a quick update.

Arnold Schwarzenegger sparked the rumors that he did the job of a fluffer in adult movies initially earlier on in his career in a recent interview with James Lipton, who is known to be the host of television program “Inside the Actor’s Studio.” During the one-on-one with the television series host, the Governor of California was asked that what would be his least favorite profession. To this the actor turned politician replied that he considered the job of a fluffer to be his least favorite which reduced the audiences who were present to spills of laughter. This remark by the “Terminator” actor fueled speculations that Arnold Schwarzenegger worked earlier as a fluffer, which is the job of arousing the male stars of porn movies.

Following the speculations, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s spokesperson declined the rumor while emphasizing that the actor turned politician was only talking hypothetically while imagining that what could possibly be the worst profession and concluded that it would be the job of a fluffer.

Alex, I also used to give one half of my peanut butter and jelly sandwich to a bum who waited for me to get off the streetcar everyday when I worked as a sorter at the Rincon Annex Post Office (San Fran).

But he never ever thanked me nor did he teach me anything other than - sometimes bums are rude critters.

At least you got to learn something. So count your blessings.

Last time I helped a hungry guy, I brought him a Big Mac and a choclate shake and gave it to him outside of McDonald's.

He took a look at it and said, "What the fuck is this?!"

I guess he wanted a Happy Meal.

Are you still assisting the needy? If you see me, I like the Subway 12 incher with tuna and everything on it.

Thanks!

One last thing .... I have never gone a day when I didn't have three good meals. I've never experienced real hunger, and it does fuck up my head when I see hungry people on the streets, so I alway look for someone who looks hungry when I go into some fast food joint and order an extra something  and politely surrender it as I walk past.

So maybe that bum that got half my peanut butter sandwich a long time ago taught me something after all. Bums do work in mysterious ways and sometimes I don't think that they're real bums at all. Something more like teachers for guys such as myself who's never gone to bed with a growling stomach.

Alex takes his image on this board very seriously.. he got all the pics of himself removed from this thread, pics he initially posted. He didn’t like the way the comments were going.. so he must have had a mod remove them. Insecurity is strong with this guy. He probably has nervous tendencies.. and full blown panic attacks stressing about the way people perceive him. Definitely attempts to project an image of something he’s not. That’s a sad way to go through life.

I wonder if he’ll stop sticking his tongue out of his mouth like an idiot? I still don’t get why guys do that...

spot on really...Howard stern called himself the king of all media until eventually other people called him that...same with Ali...He told everyone he was the greatest of all time so much that people that have never even seen more than 1-2 of his fights say he is the greatest...you say your the king of getbig long enough these morons will latch on and bow down like the sheep they are...religion was the first to implement this strategy and it still works to this day(at least with the weak of mind)...

Kids are fantastic... They are great kids... I got lucky with a couple of munchkins that listen and act right when you tell them.

My dad was diagnosed with Colon cancer a few weeks ago, so Friday he had surgery to cut it out... According to the Doctor though, they got it all and it didn't spread far, so he won't have to have any chemo or radiation or anything.

We were very lucky.

Yeah, I called the old man last night and he's chipper as hell... Really doing well. Such a relief.

I try to be a decent dad... My dad, while sometimes a pain in my ass, was always there for me... I'm just trying to do the same.

Oddly enough... No. I have a boy and a girl... They really get along for the most part.

They just gang up on me when they want something... My son knows he's getting older so he's not as "cute" looking when he pouts, so he gets his sister to do it for him.

:)

aww the 4 year old is the girl. Yea they are brutal with the faces. If my folks are around and I say no, she tries that with them and I shoot them a look. It's funny, my dad was super strict and if I pulled shit, I got the smack on the backside, but if she does acts up, I give her the look and a good threat, he will say, Lighten up and I think, who the fuck is this man cuz he aint my dad. Funny how it changes

Yeah... I once heard that as a Parent you have to say no, but as a Grand Parent, you get to say yes.

My dad used to bust my chops all of the time... Not these kids... They get away with murder.

Oddly enough, I haven't had to spank my son since he was 2... I busted him one good time back then and it put the fear of god into him, so he doesn't want any of that again.

My daughter though... damn is she a pill.

She was like I need to get the shoes now mom so they dont sell out. I said listen, your not mariah carey and we will get the shoes closer to the wedding. She is excited and already practicing with a basket on how to gently place the flowers on the carpet..GOODNESS
