Hey I thought the UFC was more professional than the other organizations. How do you explain tonight. They are as unprofessional as the other organizations. It will be interesting to see how you explain this .

Don't be an idiot. Not even comparable. Totally kept it under control and diffused something totally out of their hands. You didn't see a bunch of thugs rush the cage did you?
This was all Paul D's fault.

jesus christ....honestly, does the UFC pay you to suck its dick?

I actually like Paul D and dont think his actions were that outrageous. Yes it was bad, but cmon--- he got egged on by koscheck and koscheck acting like he was auditioning for an oscar in round one. Cutting him is a bit extreme.
-
Cutting him is a bit extreme.
I don't think so, not after what happened on live TV with SF, the UFC are making an example of him.
Although to say he'll never fight in the UFC again may be extreme, I'm sure if he continues to win and apologizes he'll be back.

Hahaha! The UFC fighters are SO professional! ::)
Yet another black eye on the organization. Punching people in the back of the head now. That's as low as it gets.

Another black eye on the org...LOL!! If anything this actually made them look even better. They showed how they can control even unfavorable situations.
They proved one again why they are the premier and dominant MMA org.
The UFC almost needs to thank Daley and Strikeforce for allowing them tolook so good!

Honeslty....try to get the dick sucking juvenile comments out of your head. I know you can come up with something better then that.

Yeah like when Phil Baroni punched referee Larry Landless for stopping his fight with Evan Tanner in the UFC and wasn't punished at all, and he's still under contract with them, and he's not even good. Dude, you're a UFC ball leech.

Bottom line is that the UFC has played their cards right and the way they handled this sucker punch just proved why they are so successful. You hate that don't you? Try to scrape up whatever dirt you want...it is very obvious that most MMA fans see it differently. The numbers speak for themselves.
You should really try a little harder at your internet harcore MMA persona...Dude. LOL.
-
In all fairness, when the strikeforce incident happened, there were a lot of people in the ring already face to face.
This incident happened just after the fight with nobody yet around and the ref was able to stop it.
-

Or should you tone down your raging delusional infatuation with Dana White and any person, place, or thing he's associated with?

How could the UFC have prevented this ??? They did the right thing. Diffused it immediately and cut him immediately. NO room for this kind of shit in a professional sport. What has StrikeForce done to discipline a gang of thugs jumping one person?
-
i think it's right to cut him. Don't care how egged on you are, or pissed that you lost. It is totally unprofessional to do what he did.

Wow how ignorant how are you. No its not the same. Maybe worse. He actually hit a guy after the fight and bell. So are saying it was okay so now everyone can go and hit after fight and bell. You better hope the UFC doesn't read this you may lose your butt hugging job
-
Surprise, surprise. The two nuthuggers are parroting, "How could the UFC have prevented this?" line as if the Strikeforce honchos could have prevented their brawl. Ahh, what a sad and pathetic double standard Dana's ball waxers play.
Or when WeightPSHR claimed that the UFC has never employed and will not employ scumbags despite all the evidence saying that they'll hire any dickhead that can fight. :-X
-

This involved one fighter sucker punching another fighter after the bell. This was all on the fighter. It WAS the UFC's responsibility to make sure it didn't escalate and to make sure that the dirty fighter received the proper punishment. Dana took care of all the ASAP. Case closed.
Strikeforce allowed numerous thugs into the ring. This is where the problem started. Total amateur move on Strikeforce's end.
Oh well, when Strikeforce goes bankrupt, they will at least have something to blame it on.
Just like Affliction was able to place blame on Barnett for roids.

Every fighter has members of their team with them in the octagon after the fight, the UFC regularly lets those same guys in the octagon whenever Nate Diaz fights.

They do allow the team members in after fights. I agree. What the UFC would NOT allow is some random, psyco, overly medicated, UFC reject into the ring to call someone out.
Hopefully you realize that the 'confrontations' inside the octagon at UFC events are planned.

So now Team Gracie aren't the "numerous thugs" you were referring too just becuase the UFC regularly lets those same guys in the octagon after Nate's fights?

The UFC does not allow thugs or thug-like behavior into the octagon. Plain and simple.
Team Gracie has always, for the most part, acted professional when in the ring post-fight at UFC events.
Some of them did choose to act like thugs at the Strikeforce event.
Maybe their behavior had something to do with the unprofessional, amateur feel of the event. Who really knows?
You get a few frustrated, UFC rejects at an amateur style event on national TV...anything can happen.

Wow I think you just proved how dumb you are. Exactly how did the control it. When you control it you prevent it. In case you are blind on top of being dumb, the guy hit another guy well after the bell. From what I saw this IS what happened. Please post the video of where they (UFC) controlled it. Thanks in advance ::) ::)

Again post that video you have of the non-thug behavior by Daley. Thanks in advance ::) ::)

How can anyone stop one idiot from sucker punching someone after the bell? What didn't happen in the UFC is a corner clearing brawl full of thugs, twinks, and ass grabbing, that got completely out of control. One thing you that was also very professional is that you didn't see the UFC replaying the event. It happened and they moved on. At the Strikeforce brawl, you had the Three-Musketeers talking about how testosterone causes these things in combat sports. Real slick.
That is the difference we are discussing here.
Bottom line is these two events are not even comparable.
-

You can call Daley's behavior whatever you want.....
He was controlled and removed from the octagon and later dismissed from the org. On the same night too. No tolerance for that shit in the UFC.
Strikeforce can only discipline their unprofessional, wannabe-thug fighters, as they would ultimately fold even sooner then they already are if they cut Diaz, Miller, or Melendez. Come to think of it, that is almost all they have these days.
-
That's the great position the UFC is in. They have such depth in the weight divisions, that they can afford to cut a guy like Daley and not skip a beat. If StikeForce were to cut Nick Diaz, they'd be one step closer to the inevitable...lol.
-
Agree 100%.
Just like the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL....Being in the UFC is a privilege and you have to respect your spot in the org.
Most UFC fighters need the UFC more then the UFC needs them.
Unfortunately, Daley had a little bit of the Strikeforce/ Elite-XC behavior left in him and he learned the hard way ;D

Good cop out. So now you don't have the video you watched where the UFC controlled it and NO mugging happened or anything. Also, can you show me a video where the head of Strikforce cusses as much as Dana does. Of course Dana is just the President of a billion dollar company so I guess acting professional like 99.99% of other presidents of large companies is out of the question. Yes, the UFC is very professional. They put on a show on TV and guys are getting in fights out side the ring and doing even more embarrassing shit that happens in the ring. Can you explain the antics that happen on TUF. Or does this not concern the UFC. Just wondering how you answer this one.
-
lol.

Please stop. You're ruining our argument ;D

Dana was a finalist for TIME magazine's 100 most influential people...maybe more president's should take note.
TUF is a highly successful reality TV show giving fighters a chance at becoming a UFC star.
Don't really get your point here? Maybe you need to get mad at the people of the USA/World and what they like to watch.

have you watched TUF. Have you not seen some of the shit they pull on there. Wow talking about living life with blinders on. I pointed out something you said doesn't happen in the UFC by noting the antics on TUF yet you can't answer for some reason. Thanks okay cause some people can't answer simple questions because there is no correct answer

I notice how you dropped the Dana topic. Hard to argue about a guy that was one of Times most influential people huh? :o :o :o
Let me explain it a little more clearly:
The cast of TUF are NOT PROFESSIONAL UFC athletes. Many are not ever UFC fighters. They also don't parade the show to be more then it is. It is advertised as a reality show giving fighters a chance at a UFC contract.
I don't know if you watch much reality TV, but they usually show some pretty candid shit to sell the shows.
It is what it is...a reality show. Nothing more is expected.
In a supposed professional MMA event on NBC Primetime, you would expect not to see a bunch of thugs beat up on each other in an uncontrolled riot type circus act. But looking back, we all should have known better.
Comparing the TUF to a live professional event is ridiculous. Really digging deep aren't you?
So why don't you tell me again how much of a terrible businessman/president Dana White is? Let's see what you got on that topic :o :o
-
I think he's got you Keith.
