Great thread ND!!  He looked awesome and he was only 26 years old at the time.  :o

Anyway, thanks for the scans ND.  It's great to see some of these older pictures.  Gunter looked incredible.

gunter, to me, represents unrealized talent


i think he has much better structure and overall gifts then say, jay cutler


the gnc sos 2002, where he made a prime ronnie coleman his girl, was just a flash of what he woudl ahve been capable of , unrealized talent

Gunter looked best at the 2005 Olympia

he was massive, he towered over everyone, and yet he still looked athletic

How do you suppose Gunter could have achieved that talent?  He seemed to not be lacking in resources to become one of the best in the world.

Also, I agree with Big Poppa J's assessment of Gunter at the 2005 Olympia.

Hes probably Smart and didn't want to Ruin himself (healthwise) as he knew he would if he tookt he steps necessary to be the best.

the video when he trains with glass I think is still one of the most impressive shit even, he littartly makes a Big bob chick look 180 pounds.
