This whole card is a joke.  The only bout that is remotely interesting is the Brett/Alistair one.  I'm hoping Brett wins because if he does he will get a rematch with Fedor.  If he does, I bet he beats Fedor.

LMAOOOO taking it a bit far aren't we?

I agree that the card sucks and I think that Brett will win. However, I dont think he will fight Fedor again and if he does he will get destroyed again. Fedor is going to fight Werdum, then Josh Barnett in Dream and then hes going to the UFC.

This card does suck. I am interested to watch Overeem, and where his skills are these days. Been a while since we have seen him fight.

Arvloski is almost set up for a guaranteed win, if he loses, he might as well retire.

Rodgers needs to get focused and cut some weight. There is no reason other then lack proper diet that he is weighing 265.

He could easily cut 40+ lbs of fat, then water, and he would be right at the LHW level. He stands a lot better chance there IMO.

Regardless, I hope Strikeforce can prevent any troubles that make the sport look bad like their last event.

At least this time it will be on Showtime, where numbers are always low anyways ;D

Why all the Dick N Ball talk? Seriously? Is that what happens when you get angry?

I do like all MMA, but I know what to expect when I watch amateur style events like Strikeforce.

Never said I didn't like them. I just don't like it when they put thuggery on National Free Primetime TV.

This is Showtime....so I can really care less what thuggery may happen.

Only a person whose never thrown a punch in their life would think it was that easy.  Go back to watching Spike guy TUF is on.

Im gonna make a last minute prediction while the fighters make their way out.  I'm going with Alistair by submission or TKO.  Brett is strong but too loopy with his punches.  Plus Alistair has underrated ground skills.

I told you that overweight fat slob has no business in the HW division. Got tossed around like a rag doll.
The days of fat HW's are over. Better to be a lean 240+ then a fatass.

Can't beat the laws of "skilled physics"

He also demolished Rodgers with ease...something Fedor sure couldn't do.

Rogers has no buisness in the heavyweight division?  Just because he lost to somebody that is clearly better than just about anybody the UFC has to offer him.  Rogers should stay at HW, he should just go to the UFC where the competition is easier.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ain't that the truth? He should go to the UFC where he can spend his career fighting cans and avoiding any top 3 fighters.

Wow, I knew this card would suck, but I'm surprised at just how bad it really was.  Thank goodness I DVR'd it, so that I could fast forward through most of it.  The commentating was unbearable!  They made everyone of these one-sided fights seem like they were close...laughable!  And, even though they had plenty of time, they didn't show a single prelim. Complete mess.  My understanding is that Coker has lost all control and Showtime is running things.  This ship is sinking fast!

The one good thing that came out of this, was exposing Brett for the 2nd tier heavyweight that he is, and solidifying Alisatar as a legit heavyweight.  Here is the best part, Fedor HAS to fight him now, or he will lose his #1 ranking.  It's a lose lose for Fedor.  Duck Alistar and be exposed for the fraud that he is, or fight him and get KTFO.  LOVE IT!!    ;D ;D ;D

I had to watch this card on mute to even be able to tolerate it.

Plus I usually allow any children present to watch MMA, as I see it as a responsible, controlled combat sports event.

But no longer do I allow any children that may be present, to watch Strikforce events, as they have shown thuggery, and criminal assault on TV in the past :o

Wow, what are you a nanny or a Pedo?  You probably don't allow your kids to watch your favorite show TUF then, it's chalked full of thuggery, lewdness and drunkedness on alcohol provided by Zuffa.

You are right....I would not let children watch TUF. It is TV entertainment and a reality show on at 10 P.M on SPIKE TV.

Pears and Carrots.

BTW Nice to see you have cooled it with the Dick N Ball talk ;D

Fights are commonly on at that time, many on that channel actually ,ever heard of Ultimate fight nights?  You have now opened a whole new avenue of ridicule to yourself, not only are you a blind guy, you now randomly bring strange children in your house to watch fights with you.  You are either some kinda twisted pedo guy who happens to hug Danas nuts, or you yourself are a child who hugs Danas nuts.  I'm going with option A.  ;)

Ultimate fight nights have never shown thuggery and criminal activity.  Like I said before.

LOL you chumps take any bait I throw your way. It's truly hilarious. I have told you before, I will make you look like a fool if you take me too serious.

Who ever said I 'randomly bring strange children to my home'....epic Santa Claus Make believe on your part right there. :o

Are you retarded? I remember watching them literally trash the entire house on one of the earlier seasons, among other sorts of thuggery that I've seen over the years. It was before 2009 so you wouldn't know, though.  :-\

I am referring to the Ultimate Fight Nights...The FREE fights they put on Spike TV. I believe they have aired 21 of them.

Never once has there been any type of thuggery like there was at the Strikforce event on FREE Primetime TV.

Now, you most likely are referring to the TUF reality series on SPIKE TV. This is a highly edited reality show, NOT involving UFC fighters under fight contracts. :o

Please don't confuse the two like you just did. You appear to need a better understanding of this sport before coming on here and debating with me. Once again, you got you ass handed to you. :o :o

Epic FOOT IN MOUTH CONFUSION for you in that last post.

Feel kind of stupid don't you? Confusing the TUF series with Ultimate Fight Nights?

You make it seem like since it's at 10pm on spike nobody watches idiot, what im implying is that the UFN fights are at the exact same time, as well as most other fights on other channels.  If they are watching one why wouldn't they be watching the other?  You can't read or what moron?

That's not what he is saying.  One is a reality TV show, the other is a sanction sporting event.  Big difference.

Man you really got yourself into a corner on this one.....

If you look back, instead of taking the bait and becoming delusional with it, you would maybe understand.

I said I can no longer allow children that may be present to watch Strikeforce events, as they have proven in the past to show criminal activity in the form of brutal assault and battery on live TV. Crimes in every state, mind you.

I never said there was a problem with children watching a professional MMA event, such as the ones the UFC puts on.

Now, because you assume that having children in the presence of an adult automatically means someone is a pedo, then I have to sincerely feel bad for what has most likely happened to you in the past.

I in no way meant to bring back those memories upon you. ;D

Hahaha. You've owned the little pedorast pretty hard here.

Fact is that Dana and Co. encourage thuggery and violent behavior on their reality shows because it's good for ratings. If you can fight, the UFC will hire you, regardless of whether you're a thug or not. Hi, Tank Abbott!

So you finally realize that TUF is an entertainment/reality TV show.

The Strikforce debacle was supposed to be an organized, sanctioned, MMA event.

See the difference?

BUT the big difference is.....

TUF= Reality TV Show and is marketed as such.

Strikeforce CBS Nashville Event= Professional Sanctioned MMA Event that involved an illegal brawl where several crimes were committed. Marketed as a "Live MMA Sports Event"

TUF= a bunch of professional fighters fighting sanctioned MMA bouts for a chance at a six figure contract, in which 3/4 of the guys end up fighting in the UFC regardless of whether they win or lose.  The biggest criminal of the Nashvile event your bitching about is a product of the UFC and TUF, in which his thuggish behavior was on full display all season 5, you should watch it sometime, oh wait, the kids you molest might not like the thuggish behavior.

This is really a pointless argument....

I am almost certain we will never see another Strikeforce on Primetime TV anyways due to the lack of talent, unprofessional production, and the thuggish brawls at the end that represented the sport so poory.
All this is evidenced by the piss-poor ratings they achieved for that time slot and in comparison to UFC's free events.

Like I said before, If family and friends that hang out with their kids watching MMA, makes you think of a pedo, I am sorry. I do apologize for that :o

Just to show you anti UFC douchebags that I'm not a UFC guy, I'll tell you right now, I love watching Bellator.  They have awesome fights, great commentating, great production and they're not trying to be another UFC.

That still doesn't change that Strike Force now sucks (thanks to show time), that Fedor's management it dodging fights and that the UFC owns Pride...literally...haha hahah! lol! LAMO!
