StrikeForce may or may not fold, but they will again be relegated to a small regional player just as they should be.  Hopefully it happens soon leaving Fedor with nowhere to hide.

Prob has more to do with the US being a welfare state. 

Didn't know the UFC held an event the same night as Strikeforce.  Was it on Spike?

Well, the StrikeForce event was free on Showtime, so I'm not sure we can blame it on the economy.  The UFC event was on Spike and was simply a compilation of some of the better fights this year...

My bad.  Showtime is a specialty channel up here.

It is most everywhere.  The UFC has to offer something for free during a Pay Per View.  If it was turned around the numbers would have been different.

The Strikforce event was free on a premium channel. Not PPV.

Why are you even arguing the success and popularity of the UFC compared to Strikeforce.

It does not even compare.
