I don't see how that's such a stupid question to ask... I don't sit around and review nasa photos on a daily basis like apparently the rest of the getbig posse does.

I don't even see how you can say who bad this oil spill is from this photo... There's no distancing measurements, I don't know what the topology of the area is, and I have no idea how much water I'm looking at.

There is no reference at all, so asking for some clarification is hardly some stupid thing to do.
