Title: Obama said he would have all troops out of Iraq by today
Post by: Bindare_Dundat on May 22, 2010, 02:03:40 AM: Obama said he would have all troops out of Iraq 16 months after taking office. That is today, yet there are still around 98,000 troops in Iraq. Where are all the anti war protesters these days to get on his case about it?

If you want to be more correct, people in the North don't want us to leave. By in large the ISF (Iraqi security forces) don't want us to leave. First off we're a cash cow to them and they know if they fuck up we'll be there to back them up. The Kurds don't want us to leave. Arabs adjacent to Kurdish areas don't want us to leave because they fear the Pesh. The kurds in those area's feel the same way. Iran would love us to leave....I'm leaving in November..they can have this fucking place.
